Mew Reveal Video

Mew was first revealed during the Pokemon UNITE anniversary phase 2 announcement together with Dodrio and Scizor. Now, Mew's official spotlight trailer is released!

Mew Basic Information

Confirmed to be a Ranged Attacker

Mew is revealed to have an Attacker role. It will laso have ranged attacks, which is typical for a Pokemon for that role.

Can Learn Multiple Moves

It has been revealed that Mew will have multiple learnable moves, unlike existing Pokemon in the roster. It can even forget and re-learn moves!

Mew Stats

Has High Attack Stat

Since Mew has a unique gameplay wherein it can learn multiple sets of moves, its stats may be unique as well. However, since Mew is confirmed to be an Attacker, the Pokemon will likely have a high Attack stat, which contributes to its overall damage output.

Has Low Endurance

Like other Attackers in the roster, Mew will likely have a low Endurance stat. This means that the Pokemon will have low defenses and HP, which will warrant a glass-cannon playstyle.

Mew Moves

Light Screen

Mew's second official move revealed is Light Screen. Mew creates a wall that blocks opponent's path. Using Electro Ball, Solar Beam, or Surf through the wall boosts their effects. Using it again moves the wall closer to Mew, reducing enemy attack damage that pass through it.

Solar Beam

The other move seen in the video looks like Solar Beam, and since it's mentioned in Light Screen's description, it's most likely the case.

Surf

Surf is also mentioned in Light Screen's description. This is most likely the one seen in the trailer for the Phase 2 of the Anniversary where Mew is seen riding a wave.

Electro Ball

Mew's first official move revealed is Electro Ball. Mew hurls an electric orb, dealing damage to targets and paralyzing them for a short duration. Based on its description, the move is the same as Pikachu's Electro Ball.

Unite Move: Mystical Mirage

Mystical Mirage is Mew's Unite Move. Mew creates a circle around itself that makes it invicible and grants invisibility to itself and allies inside it. It then explodes after awhile, dealing damage to enemies inside the circle.
