EX Licenses is the new classification that will be implemented starting on December 5, 2023. The following Pokemon are classified as EX licenses.

Draft Pick in Ranked and EX Licenses Coming to UNITE!
Unite Licenses can be bought at the Unite Battle Committee (UBC) in Shopping using either Aeos Coins or Gems.
Aeos Coins are earned in unite battles and missions. Gems, on the other hand, are purchased using real money.
Players can receive two (2) free licenses weekly if they are subscribed to the UNITE Club Membership.

The prices of Unite Licenses vary depending on which Pokemon it unlocks. It's advised to unlock Pokemon that are easy to use (recommended for newer players) or can perform well in a variety of situations.
Tier List: Best Pokemon to Use
New players are given one free Unite License at the start of the game. The free Pokemon available are: Pikachu, Eldegoss, Snorlax, Charizard, and Talonflame. You can check out the link below if you're having trouble deciding which Pokemon to unlock first.
Everytime a new Pokemon is released, its license can only be bought by Aeos Gems for the first week. After the first week, it can now be bought by Aeos Coins.
Unite Licenses are items used to unlock a Pokemon. They can be purchased using either Aeos Coins or Gems. Once unlocked, players can now use that Pokemon in any type of game mode.
