Cotton Down Effect

Damages an opponent and decreases its movement speed for a short time after the Pokemon with this Ability receives a certain amount of damage. When that happens,the Pokemon also recovers HP and has its movement speed increased for a short time.

How to Use Cotton Down

Chase down fleeing opponents or escape bad fights

Offensively, you can abuse this ability to catch up to your opponents, especially when partnered up with X Speed or Leaf Tornado.

Defensively, should Eldegoss be nearing death, you can use Leaf Tornado to create a path for you to escape and, coupled with the increased speed from this ability, make a quick getaway.
