The Pokemon's movement speed increases when opposing Pokemon are nearby. While the Pokemon is moving, its sprint gauge charges. When its sprint gauge is full, the Pokemon starts running with increased movement speed. If the Pokemon's movement speed decreases below a set speed, the sprint gauge will rapidly deplete. When Doduo scores a goal, it evenly divides the collected Aeps Energy into two portions and deposits them into the goal one at a time. After Doduo evolves into Dodrio, when it scores a goal, it evenly divides its collected Aeos Energy into three portions and deposits them into the goal one at a time.
Since Run Away increases your movement speed when there are opponents nearby, it's best to stay active throughout the game by hunting targets or sticking with your allies to take advatange of the effect.
Your Sprint gauge fills up when you move but will deplete once you stop. With this, always keep moving even while attacking to keep the Sprint gauge charged, allowing you to enhance your attacks and moves.
Dodrio's attack changes when the Sprint gauge is filled, perfoming a charge attack instead of a normal one. You can use the charge attack in multiple ways, such as traversing walls or objects, closing the gap quickly, and adding it to your combos.
Moreover, hitting an opponent with the charge attack reduces all of your moves' cooldown.
Apart from stopping, your Sprint gauge will also deplete if your movement speed falls below the threshold. Given this, it's best to avoid slows from all sources, including the enemy Speed Flux zones.
One remedy for this is using X Speed, Full Heal, or Agility to remove slow effects.
