Players will get a chance to get Glaceon for free by completing missions in the Icy Glaceon Challenge event during Pokemon UNITE's first anniversary celebration! The event will run from July 21, 2022 at 12:00 AM PDT and will end on August 14, 2022 at 4:59 PM PDT!

UNITE 1st Anniversary: New Updates and Features

Glaceon Basic Information

Confirmed to be a Ranged Attacker

Like other Eeveelutions found in the game, Glaceon will be a ranged Attacker. We expect it to have a similar playstyle with Sylveon and Espeon, relying on long-ranged moves to deal damage from the backlines.

Has an Sp. Attack Stat

Glaceon is categorized as an ice type Pokemon with a high Sp. Attack stat. We expect to have the new Pokemon to have a high Sp. Atk. stat, which will be consistent.

Glaceon Stats

High Attack Stat

Since Glaceon is confirmed to be an Attacker, the Pokemon has a high Attack stat, which contributes to its overall damage output.

Low Endurance

Like other Attackers in the roster, Glaceon has a low Endurance stat. This means that the Pokemon will have low defenses and HP, which will warrant a glass-cannon playstyle.

Ice Shard

Pokemon UNITE - Glaceon Revealed Ice Shard Preview

The first move officially confirmed for Glaceon is Ice Shard. The move increases Glaceon's movement and Standard Attack speed for a short time. Moreover, it turns Glaceon's attacks into chunks of ice that deal damage to opponents, which also decrease movement speed!

Icicle Spear

Pokemon UNITE - Icicle Spear

The second move officially confirmed for Glaceon is Icicle Spear. Icicle Spear launches all of Glaceon’s stored ice crystals at a target, dealing increasing damage each time they hit the same target!

Icy Wind

Pokemon UNITE - Glaceon Icy Wind Move

The first move seen in Glaceon's official character spotlight is Icy Wind where Glaceon leap forward, then shoot out multiple ice crystals at once as it attacks.

Freeze-Dry

Pokemon UNITE - Glaceon Freeze-Dry Move

The second move seen in Glaceon's official character spotlight is Freeze-Dry where Glaceon hurl a ball of ice at a target and leave a icy circle when it explodes.

Unite Move: Glacial Stage

Pokemon UNITE - Glaceon Revealed Unite Move

Glaceon's Unite move is called Glacial Stage. Here, we see Glaceon jump up in the air and create an ice zone in front of it that slows down and deals damage to opposing Pokemon caught in the area of effect. While Glaceon is in the zone, its movement speed is increased, and it accumulates ice crystals over time.
