When the Pokemon hits an opposing Pokemon with a basic attack or move, that opposing Pokemon will receive a fire fragment. Hitting an opposing Pokemon that has a fire fragment 5 times with a basic attack or move will deal additional damage and restore the user's HP. When the Pokemon with this Ability is at half HP or lower, more HP is restored.

Blaze's healing is equal to 5% of Blaziken's max HP when above half HP and increases to 7% when at half HP or below. The higher Blaziken's HP is, the stronger Blaze's healing effect becomes.
Blaziken applies one fire fragment to its target whenever it hits it with Standard Attacks or moves. Applying five fire fragments to one target will deal additional damage to that target and heal Blaziken for an amount.
The best way to quickly apply fire fragments is by combining Standard Attacks and moves when fighting.
When Blaziken is at half HP or below, Blaze's HP recovery effect strengthens. Utilize this mechanic to stay alive and fight through intense battles. However, this will ultimately depend on the situation at hand.
1.14.2.10 | HP recovery increased from 5% of max HP to 7% of max HP. HP recovery when HP is below half increased from 7% of max HP to 10% of max HP. |
