His ability to group enemies however are a lot better than Sucrose and the major difference is you can actually control what time of element you want to swirl just in case there's two different elements on the field.

Just a tip from my experience, if you have Skyward Spine for Hu tao, it works really well with Shimenawa 4 pcs set. With its decent ER it consistently keep its bonuses going and maintain massive damage, as long you have a decent substats with ER.

Childe is more versatile and synergies with more comps as main or sub dps whilst also being a hydro character(not many of those) can be hard to play though at 1st. Hu Tao is very strong pyro main dps in the game but only that. You need a 2nd dps to fill in when ele skill duration runs out, keep her below 50% hp for more pyro bonus which means you want shield over heal support and you really want xingqiu to be with her for constant vaporize + the DR.
