Atomfall Overview
Atomfall is an action survival RPG being developed by Rebellion, the developers behind the Sniper Elite series. The game was released on March 27, 2025 for the Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC, PlayStation 5, and the PlayStation 4. It was also be available on the Xbox Game Pass at launch.
Atomfall is set in a parallel timeline 5 years after the real-life events of the Windscale nuclear disaster that took place in Northern England. Much of the British countryside has become a post-apocalyptic quarantine zone. Its inhabitants sealed off from the rest of the continent, they must survive against the dangers of malformed creatures and human factions that have formed. Players must learn how to scavenge for supplies, craft equipment, barter with other people, and if it comes to it, fight for survival.

Atomfall Gameplay
Atomfall is a first-person action-adventure survival RPG where players will explore a quarantined British countryside full of deformed creatures and inhabitants seeking refuge in the harsh realities of nuclear fallout. Players must seek out materials and supplies in the wild in order to craft items necessary for their survival. Crafting will be the centerpoint, as it will allow characters to gain valuable equipment such as weapons to defend themselves with, as the world is scarce with supplies with every location looted by previous scavengers.
Survive in the wilderness of the British countryside, amass the necessary supplies to stay alive, and acquire weapons to fend off enemies, humans and creatures alike.
