Surge Surfer is a Passive Ability of Alolan Raichu in Pokemon UNITE. Learn the effects of Surge Surfer, as well as its damage at each level, cooldown time, level to learn and upgrade, status effects it inflicts, and all Pokemon builds using Surge Surfer.

Surge Surfer Effect
The Pokémon can use basic attacks while moving. When the Pokemon uses a move or a boosted basic attack, it dashes in the designated direction.
How to Use Surge Surfer
Circle Around Targets While Attacking with Stored Power
If Alolan Raichu learns Stored Power, it will have to utilize more of the ability to attack while moving since the move encourages the Pokemon to use its basic attacks.
The best way to take advantage of the effect is to circle around targets while attacking them from range.
Be Mindful of Positioning When Using Moves
If Alolan Raichu learns Electro Ball instead of Stored Power, it will have to utilize more of the ability to automatically dash towards the direction of a move it uses.
Since this effect is automatic and happens every time Alolan Raichu uses a move or performs a boosted attack, it's important to be mindful of the Pokemon's positioning to avoid accidentally putting it in a bad position.
