Has the user unleash a kick while leaping toward the designated location, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon it hits and shoving them. The shoved opposing Pokemon will have their movement speed decreased for a short time. If the shoved opposing Pokemon come in contact with a wall, they will be left unable to act instead of having their movement speed decreased.
Use Blaze Kick to shove opponents on walls. Doing so stuns them for a short duration, which can be useful for various scenarios like setting up a knockout.
By default, Blaze Kick only slows targets if they don't hit a wall when they're shoved. Although stunning opponents would be the ideal scenario, utilizing the move's slow effect can also be an effective strategy.
Blaze Kick can be used as a mobility tool in certain situations. Although the move is categorized as a hindrance move, it works just like a dash move since Blaziken dashes towards a direction.
Never use Blaze Kick in an attempt to move through walls. Although the move functions like a dash move, it can't traverse walls unlike a typical dash move. Blaziken will simply stop as soon as it hits a wall due to the move's stun mechanic.
Blaziken becomes unstoppable whenever it uses Blaze Kick, which can be utilized in certain situations. One way to take advantage of this effect is to use Blaze Kick when targeted by a disabling move. However, this does require fast reflexes and timing to pull off correctly.
