Detect is a Move learned by Sirfetch'd in Pokemon UNITE. Learn the effects of Detect, as well as its damage at each level, cooldown time, level to learn and upgrade, status effects it inflicts, and all Pokemon builds using Detect.

Sirfetch'dDetect Effect
Has the user ready its tough leek-leaf shield while the move button is held down. When it readies its shield, all attacks are parried and nullified for a short amount of time, and damage received is reduced thereafter. When the move button is released, the user dashes in the designated direction, dealing damage. If the leek-leaf shield blocks an attack, the second stage of this move will be boosted, dealing additional damage, applying a slowing effect and granting the user a shield. If the user successfully parries an attack, the delay for the second stage of this move is reduced.
How to Use Detect
Hold Down the Button to Parry Incoming Damage
Detect has two modes of activation; one when holding down the button and the other one when releasing it.
When you hold down the button, Sirfetch'd raises its shield and during this time, all attacks are parried and nullified, and the damage Sirfetch'd received is reduced aferwards.
Once you release the button, Sirfetch'd dashes forward and deals damage to opponents in the path.
Pair with Leaf Blade and Take the Frontlines
With Leaf Blade and Detect, Sirfetch'd can soak up more damage while you're holding down the Detect button since all attacks are parried and nullified during that time. This makes Sirfetch'd into a great frontline brawler or initiator.
Once Sirfetch'd is close to your target, release the Detect button to have the Pokemon dash towards it then quickly follow up with Leaf Blade for additional damage and to stun opponents.
