This build revolves around setting up Fury Cutter using Brutal Swing. The key to this build is timing the second activation of Brutal Swing to quickly get Sirfetch'd into melee range of opponents then following up with Fury Cutter for a quick burst of damage. The build is also emphasizing the critical-hits since each hit of Fury Cutter can trigger critical-hits.

Fury Cutter
|
Fury Cutter deals an insane amount of damage to multiple opponents, especially when each hit is a critical-hit, and it also stuns opponents. |
Brutal Swing
|
Brutal Swing allows Sirfetch'd to quickly get to melee range and set up Fury Cutter thanks to its teleport mechanic and slow effect. |
This moveset offers good mobility and crowd control with a potential to deal huge damage to multiple opponents.
Fury Cutter already deals decent damage initially, but since each hit can trigger a critical-hit, it has the potential to deal ridiculous amounts of damage to multiple opponents. It also provides Sirfetch'd with a small stun at the end of the move.
Brutal Swing provides Sirfetch'd with an easy way to get to melee range and set up Fury Cutter thanks to its teleport mechanic and slow effect. It can also act as a general mobility tool for Sirfetch'd.
Let us know why in the comments!
Sirfetch'd's initial moveset is great for early-game fights. Utilize them to get an early lead for your team.
Dual Wingbeat deals high damage when both attacks hit, making it great for farming wild Pokemon and applying early-game pressure in lanes.
Quick Attack is great for dealing burst damage and getting to melee range quickly, while also gaining a shield for protection.
Steadfast reduces the duration of hindrance effects inflicted on Sirfetch'd while its shield effect is active and increases its critical-hit rate when the Pokemon hits opponents with basics attacks or moves.
With these effects in mind, your gameplay should be initiating fights with Detect or Brutal Swing to activate the shield effect then quickly following up with Leaf Blade or Fury Cutter and standard attacks to quickly rack up on Steadfast's counter for increased critical-hit rate.
The combination of reduced hindrance effect duration and increased critical-hit rate prolongs Sirfetch'd life and improves its damage potential during fights.
With Leaf Blade and Detect, Sirfetch'd can soak up more damage while you're holding down the Detect button since all attacks are parried and nullified during that time. This makes Sirfetch'd into a great frontline brawler or initiator.
Once Sirfetch'd is close to your target, release the Detect button to have the Pokemon dash towards it then quickly follow up with Leaf Blade for additional damage and to stun opponents.
When using Fury Cutter and Brutal Swing, Sirfetch'd can quickly burst down opponents with a single move due to Fury Cutter's high damage output. Each attack from Fury Cutter also has a chance to critical-hit, greatly improving your chances of one-shotting targets.
Use Brutal Swing's second activation to quickly teleport to the shield's location and slow targets then quickly follow up with Fury Cutter.
Lunging Leek Nova Blast has Sirfetch'd dash towards the designated direction, dealing damage to opponents and shoving them. This makes the move great for initiating and setting up fights for your team as it deals quick damage and stuns opponents.
| Lunging Leek Assault Combo | |
|---|---|
| Start by holding Detect to parry any incoming damage. Once you're near your target, release the Detect button to dash towards them then immediately follow up with Leaf Blade while also making sure to use its second activation for additional damage. | |
| Brutal Jabs Combo | |
|---|---|
| Use Brutal Swing to throw your leek-shield then use the move again to quickly teleport to the shield's location then immediately follow up with Fury Cutter. | |
