Steadfast is a Passive Ability of Galarian Farfetch'd in Pokemon UNITE. Learn the effects of Steadfast, as well as its damage at each level, cooldown time, level to learn and upgrade, status effects it inflicts, and all Pokemon builds using Steadfast.

Steadfast Effect

While the Pokemon's shield effect is active, the duration of hindrance effects inflicted on the Pokemon is reduced. When the Pokemon hits opposing Pokemon with a basic attack or a move, it takes a deep breath and focuses, increasing its critical-hit rate. The Pokemon gains Exp. Points when it lands a critical-hit.

How to Use Steadfast

Play Around the Effects

Steadfast reduces the duration of hindrance effects inflicted on Sirfetch'd while its shield effect is active and increases its critical-hit rate when the Pokemon hits opponents with basics attacks or moves. It also gives EXP. when the Pokemon lands a critical-hit.

With these effects in mind, your gameplay should be initiating fights with an activated shield effect then quickly following up with moves and standard attacks to quickly rack up on Steadfast's counter for increased critical-hit rate.

The bonus EXP. is also a great way to quickly evolve to Sirfetch'd

Does other shield effects trigger steadfast? Like res guard or other Pokémon shield effects
