Let me start with this: why would you put cramorant in A tier? Cramorant is great when it comes to damage, and should be put in SS+ tier. It takes a lot of patience to place his moves well, so I'll bring him down to S tier- at least for beginners. My favorite moveset is dive + air slash. Dive enables a good mobility option, so that it won't be necessary to equip eject button. The battle item that I like to use for cramorant is potion, but there are other choices that cramorant can benefit from.
When mastered, garchomp is able to take down opponents with ease, and for this reason, I think it should be placed in S tier. Garchomp can deal great damage, and has a good defense stat as well- I was able to take down multiple opponents with less than half HP using garchomp. In my opinion, garchomp's best moveset is dragon claw and dragon rush. This moveset maximizes garchomp's damage potential. Earthquake and dig do not seem to deal as much damage compared to dragon claw and dragon rush.
And thats just his base kit, which in TFs w/ spamming autos means you have 2s CD dash and ~5s CD Hyper Beam which is UNINTERRUPTIBLE btw. Now ON TOP, Multiscale is literal Burstproof as passive every 15s. And LASTLY his global ult (ONLY ONE IN GAME) means that he CAN AND SHOULD rotate late & farm/score 'til the objective contest begins, meaning if enemy doesn't rotate to block Dnite, he gets to score freely. If they rotate to block Dnite he globals over to the Objective and now it's 4v5.
S tier is still undervalueing how good Dragonite is. The fact that it has DD (Dash + damage, faster Autos and Movespeed) + ranged autos that lower DD's CD to basically 2 seconds, Heal 5% max Hp, Stun and proc for 10% of enemys remaining HP mean that if Dragonite gets into melee range, you are NEVER running from that fight, not even now-nerfed Petal Dance Venusaur. Which means you are forced to fight Dnite. Now on top Hyper Beam+ hits for 20% MAX Hp and give 50%(!!) DR making it VERY strong.
"We decided to put Dragonite in A Tier tentatively. This is because Dragonite does not shine in any specific way but.." This is once again Greedent levels of wrong. Dragonite has almost Garchomp statline, with more base attack than Tsareena. It gets 1s cooldown reduction to its moves with every boosted auto like Blastoise. Dragon Dance gives it PERMANENT 24% Damage bonus in teamfight with Hyper Beam hitting for bonus 20% of enemy MAX Hp. AND it has global ult. Seriously guys.
This is false. It has been proven that it does not matter if you play in a party or soloqueue, the game will match you up with the closest ELO players looking for a match, whether they be in party or not. It doesn't prioritize those in a party either if there's a choice of your team Vs 5 soloqueues or your team Vs party of 2 and party of 3 or your team Vs party of 5. Literally only thing thta decides the match is ELO difference. In ranked at least.
Playing in a three stack (no matter what rank you are) will be hard, because you’ll be running into a lot more 5 stacks.
Muscle band, Focus Band, Buddy Barrier. Eject Button. Dragon Dance (Blue move) + Hyper Beam. Dragonite has a completely broken damage buff into the Hyper Beam with 3 stacks of Dragon Dance. And you have infinite chase with nonstop Dragon Dance dashes. And Hyper Beam STILL goes off even if you are CC'd. AND you cannot be instant bursted because of your passive. (Multiscale (I assume) reduces damage periodically. Like a MUCH better Assault Vest) AND you have global Ult. SSS Tier needed.
As of launch Day 20th Dec, Dragonite is a second Pokemon in a row to launch into God tier. First of all this is the ONLY Pokemon with a GLOBAL move so expect it to be instant ban/pick in competitive. Secondly this is an ATTACK ranged BRUISER with even MORE DAMAGE THAN TSAREENA. With 3 stacks of Dragon Dance (Blue move) buff, Hyper beam is almost literally onehitting every Cinderace and Greninja. With Tank build. And you have same CD reduction from Boosted autos as Blastoise. Fun, but NOT OK.
I think they should realy put dragonnight on s tier becouse it has a move I tried that can defenetly 1 hit ko gardevoir, greninja, pickachu, and even venusaur
The biggest mistakes in this tier list are Talonflame in A instead of Top S tier and Machamp in B instead of Top A tier. Talon is the best Scorer in the game with Score Shield and Buddy Barrier and it has insanely good objective secure with Fly + Razor Claw Auto attack. Also Talon has like infinite mobility with Fly + Flame Charge. Machamp has the best engage and disrupt in the game with Unstoppable Submission and Unite move. Machamp can singlehandedly save a TF with ult Pushback.
That’s actually reasonable enough.
Every Pokemon you mentioned should belong in A tier, except Pikachu. Pika is fine in S.
Can you take another look at Greedent, Sylveon, Pikachu, Blastoise, Mamoswine, Garchomp, Gardevoir again?
Compared to the meta tier Gardevoir is very bad. Also you prove a point by saying it's in ultra. It's a known gripe how 50% of player base are in "Masters" and yet theres TERRIBLE players all the way up to 1900 Masters, and you evaluate a pokemon by how it did in a Ultra rank game...
Yes, I played Gardevoir yesterday in trio queue ultra rank, and we won very easily. Ranged attackers that aren't venusaur aren't as strong because of *ahem* lucario, but are still strong.
Lmao Gardevoir is now A to S tier. The buff makes him very useful now.
Unite's biggest problem is that there is handful of Pokemon who do everything (or almost everything. Looking @ Eldegoss) really well and then there's the rest. Which means most of the time you see only that handful the higher you go. If I had to put the 10 most viable Pokemon in order they would be: Tsareena, Lucario, Venusaur, Eldegoss, Talonflame, Mr. Mime, Cinderace, Greninja, Wigglytuff and Snorlax. The order is most relevant for top 7. They can really do everything in the game.
I agree with this, because Gardevoir and Garchomp don't bring much to teamfights, (except for gardevoir's unite move, which will probably be on cool down most of the time) and mamoswine is only good in teamfights.
