Mega Mewtwo X
Pick Rate: 40.8%
Pick Rate: 9.9%
Pick Rate: 7%
These are the top three (3) most used Pokemon by the Masters Top 100 in the leaderboards. These Pokemon helped the players achieve such a feat so give them a big round of applause!
Game8 chose Mega Mewtwo Y as Season 13's best Attacker. Mega Mewtwo Y dominated the meta, particularly as an Attacker, when it was released. It has the most complete kit compared to other Attackers, having a great mix of damage, mobility, and utility.
Game8 chose Leafeon as Season 13's best Speedster. Leafeon remains as the best Speedster. Its ease-of-use coupled with its burst damage and mobility makes it highly effective in dictating the tempo of the game.
Game8 chose Mega Mewtwo X as Season 13's best All-Rounder. Mega Mewtwo X has been dominating the meta ever since its release and is argubly the most broken Pokemon in the roster. Even with the nerfs it received just shortly after its release, the Pokemon still had a glaring power advantage against the rest.
Game8 chose Umbreon as Season 13's best Defender. Umbreon remains as the best Defender. Although its high durability is common among other Defenders, its atypical gameplay and early leveling gives it an edge over the others.
Game8 chose Hoopa as Season 13's best Supporter. Hoopa's usage and performance in competitive games shows just how advantageous it is to have the Pokemon in a team. Its ability to create portals and allow its allies to quickly rotate around the map remains unique to the Pokemon and is unmatched up to this day.
|Best Holowear for Season 13|
Game8 has chosen these three as Season 13's best holowears. They're the most visually and conceptually creative holowears that came out within the season.
Game8 chose Mega Mewtwo X as Season 13's best Newcomer. It's without a doubt that Mewtwo, in general, is one of the most-awaited Pokemon to arrive in UNITE given its prestige in the main games and anime. And when Mega Mewtwo X was released, not only did it live up to its status, it pratically broke the meta given just how powerful it is. In fact, the Pokemon was too broken that it was nerfed twice just shortly after its release. However, even with the nerf, the Pokemon remained as dominant as it was prior to its nerfs, showing no glaring signs of weakening.
Zacian fell off the meta when it was nerfed in the 184.108.40.206 Update, which made its gameplay much harder to execute. However, as a response to Mega Mewtwo X's domination, Zacian proved to be one of the few Pokemon that can stand up against it, and due to that situation, the Pokemon came back to the spotlight as a meta pick. In fact, it even debuted in 2023 World Championships, showing an splendid performance.
