Game8 chose Lefaeon as Season 12's best Newcomer. Although the Pokemon was released just a few days before Season 12, we decided to just treat it as part of the season. Leafeon was one of the much-awaited eeveelution in the game. The Pokemon quickly took over the meta once it was released and has been dominating games ever since. Zacian has completely fallen off the meta ever since it was nerfed in the 1.10.1.3 Update, which made its gameplay much harder to execute. As a result, the Pokemon's strength fell significantly despite its damage staying the same.

Urshifu has become a go-to jungler pick in competitive games with an impressive success rate. Although both of its styles are still effective in their own right, its Single-Strike Style tends to be the preferred one.
