Yes because Swablu is just a normal/flying type, but then can evolve into a dragon flying type.
overall, I personally feel like Altaria would be a GREAT all rounder in the all rounder category.

Altaria, don't get me wrong, but although it's already in the game as a experience farm (EXP farm) It's one of the few Pokemon that's unique in the Pokemon world, able to mega evolve into dragon/fairy unlike its base form, dragon/flying, although that also means adding swablu, altaria’s pre evolution stage, it'd be a cool playable character even if its already in the game. I listed the feats and stats below [I can't seem to find stats for swablu, so here's altaria's] :)

Anyone of 4th and 5th generation starter trio should be cool as they have potential power and can weild dangerous moves. For ex Infernape could be an attacker, Torterra could be an defender.
