Has the user exhale a mighty gust, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon and leaving them paralyzed. If the user hits an opposing Pokemon with this move, the user's basic attacks are boosted for a short time, dealing increased damage with increased basic attack speed. The more opposing Pokemon hit by this move (up to a maximum of 3), the greater the basic attack speed increase.
Whenever Gyarados hits opponents with Dragon Breath, it gains an attack speed boost, and its attacks become boosted. Take advantage of this effect by always following up with attacks after using Dragon Breath. The damage Gyarados' attacks can deal with this effect can be greater than Dragon Breath's damage.
Remember to hit as many opponents as possible with Dragon Breath to gain more attack speed.
The best way to use Dragon Breath is to set it up with Waterfall or Bounce first. Doing so allows Gyarados to get close enough to opponents and utilize Dragon Breath's attack buff.
1.16.2.6 | Attack speed buff decreased from 60%, 80%, 100% to 40%, 55%, 70% (hits 1,2,3 enemies). |

1.15.1.2 | Attack speed now increases when hitting an opponent. |
