Increases the user's Sp. Atk. for a short amount of time and has the user shoot out a freezing burst of air in a forward direction. The burst of air explodes upon hitting an opposing Pokemon or after traveling a set distance, dealing damage to the opposing Pokemon in the area of effect. For each opposing Pokemon hit by the explosion, the user gains 2 ice crystals. The explosion also leaves behind an ice zone. Opposing Pokemon that enter this ice zone will have their movement speed decreased. If they remain in the ice zone for a set amount of time, they become frozen for a short time.
Since hitting targets with Freeze-Dry gives you 2 Ice Crystals for each enemy hit, you can quickly max out your Ice Crystals by hitting as many enemies as you can. Remember that you only have to hit at least 4 enemies to max out Ice Crystals, this works on wild Pokemon and Pokemon from the opposing team.
Freeze-Dry increases your Sp. Atk. for a short duration after using the move. Take advantage of this effect by following up with your other move or Unite move or attacks.
Freeze-Dry leaves an icy circle when it explodes. Enemies caught inside the circle when it expires are frozen. You can use Freeze-Dry to zone out enemies, especially on tight spots.
1.16.2.8 | Damage increased by 8%. |

1.15.1.7 | Movement speed reduction increased from 20% to 30%. |
