Pokemon UNITE - Whirlpool

Whirlpool is a Move learned by Empoleon in Pokemon UNITE. Learn the effects of Whirlpool, as well as its damage at each level, cooldown time, level to learn and upgrade, status effects it inflicts, and all Pokemon builds using Whirlpool.

Whirlpool Effect

Has the user create a violent, swirling whirlpool around itself, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon it hits and restoring the user's HP. When this move is boosted by Torrent, the amount of damage dealt and HP restored are increased, and the move also throws opposing Pokemon before ending with a slash, dealing damage. (Torrent gauge consumed: 50)

How to Use Whirlpool

Utilize Whirlpool Healing Effect

Whirlpool deals damage to nearby enemies and also heals Empoleon. Utilize the healing effect to keep Empoleon alive during fights.

Set Up with a Dash Move

Since Whirlpool triggers on Empoleon's position, you need to find a way to get close to targets, otherwise the moves damage and healing effect will be wasted. The simplest way to set up Whirlpool is to use any of Empoleon's dash moves, or use Eject Button.

1.20.3.10 Damage decreased by 12%.
1.20.1.5 Damage reduced by 12%. Recovery amount reduced by 33%. Enhanced recovery amount reduced by 38%.
