How to Update

To apply the patch, simply restart the Pokemon UNITE app on your device. You can do this by closing the game if you have it running, then booting it up again.

Some Pokemon that requires help are definitely aided like Talonflame, Charizard, and Venusaur. Some nerfs like Zeraora, Eldegoss, or Machamp are not that drastic, but can be noticeable if you are used to their power level. Overall, the patch did not overhaul anything major, but the buffs that most characters recieved are a welcomed change.

New Features

Spectate Feature

A test release of the Spectate feature will be performed after the update. Spectate feature is a popular MOBA feature that allows you to watch a friend or a different player's current game. This feature will usually have a delay to avoid assisted sniping so players can avoid cheating via 3rd party assistance.

Charizard	Flamethrower 　• Damage increased from 1162 to 1208 (+4%). 　• Cooldown decreased from 7s to 5.5s. 　• Burn staus effect damage increased from 46/s to 92/s (+100%)
	Fire Punch 　• Knocks back opposing Pokemon further.
	Fire Blast 　• Cooldown decreased from 7 seconds to 5.5 seconds. 　• Effects on opposing Pokemon strengthened (unconfirmed).

Talonflame

Pokemon	Changes
Talonflame	Acrobatics 　• Damage dealt to opposing Pokemon increased from 1491 to 2253 (+51%).
	Aerial Ace 　• Damage dealt to opposing Pokemon increased from 462 to 621 (+34%).
	Aerial Ace + 　• Damage dealt to opposing Pokemon increased from 1034 to 1235 (+19%).
	Fly 　• Damage dealt to opposing Pokemon increased from 2325 to 2974 (+28%).

Venusaur

Venusaur	Sludge Bomb 　• Damage dealt to opposing Pokemon increased from 479 to 759 (+58%). 　• Poison status effect damage increased from 52/s to 77/s (+48%)
	Petal Dance 　• Move effect strengthened (unconfirmed).
	Solar Beam 　• Move cooldown decreased from 11s to 10s.
	Verdant Anger 　• Damage dealt to opposing Pokemon increased from 2020 to 2662 (+32%) 　• Area of Effect damage increased from 1017 to 1338 (+32%).
