Challenge Completion Tips

How to Defeat Electrode

Pokemon UNITE Electrode Location.png

Due to Electrodes self destruct move, players have trouble defeating Electrode in the early to mid game because of the Pokemon they choose. Here are a few tips on how to beat him easier

Use Basic Attacks Until 60% HP

Electrode Exploding Cast time.png

Electrodes self destruct move only actives when its HP reaches around 60% left.

We suggest not using your moves yet before this since the cast time for self destruct is quite quick at around 5 seconds, which might mean you won't have enough time to use your moves a second time.

Use Burst Type Pokemon

With Electrodes self destruct move in mind, you will have only 5 seconds before it explodes and respawns after 45 seconds.

This is why using the correct Pokemon is key to completing this challenge easier.

Our top suggestions are Talonflame, Gengar with Dream Eater, or Gardevoir.

Avoid Fighting It Solo in the Early Game

In a Quick Match, the early game is defined as the first 1 and a half minutes of the game.

During this time, fighting Electrode is not recommended since not only is your level and damage not high enough to take it on alone, but other teams will most likely intercept you while you fight it.

It would be best to wait for your Pokemon to get a few levels, preferrably enough to have all their move upgrades, before fighting Electrode.

You can learn more about Electrode in our guide below.

K.O. Opponents Inside Speed Flux Zones

Speed Flux Zone Protection.png

Speed Flux Zones in Shivre City have Yellow Berries that will heal players when picked up.

This is why to set the area, make sure to take all of the berries around you before looking for an enemy.

You also don't need to be the one to land the finishing hit on the Enemy Pokemon. As long as you get an assist, it will count towards your score!

Sitrus Berries

There are a lot of Sitrus Berries scattered in the Speed Flux Zone of Shivre City.

These Sitrus Berries are on a fixed respawn timer of 15 seconds each.

With this in mind, you can set up a 15 second rotation that goes around the Speed Flux Zones lane to gather Sitrus Berries while you hunt for wild Pokemon!

Shivre City Map Guide

Shivre City is one of the unique maps in Pokemon UNITE that has it's own mechanics and Wild Pokemon.

Learning its unique features can help you win more games and earn more points!
