Psycho Cut Effect

Psycho Cut In-Game.jpg

Has the user attack with blades formed by psychic power that decreases the movement speed of opposing Pokemon for a short time when the move hits. Also, after this move hits, the user's attacks deal additional damage to affected opposing Pokemon (up to three times).

Attack Damage Increase is Dealt as Additional Damage

Pokemon UNITE - Pyscho Cut - Additional Damage

Psycho Cut's basic attack damage increase effect is dealt as additional damage rather than increased total damage, essentially making it two attacks in a single action.

Enemies hit by Pyscho Cut will have a mark above them that looks like claw marks, indicating they are under its effects. This effect lasts for 5 seconds before disappearing.

How to Use Psycho Cut

Use Psycho Cut First

Pokemon UNITE - Use Psycho Cut First

With the change to Psycho Cut's effect, Absol's moves can benefit from its damage increase. Always use Pyscho Cut first before Night Slash or Pursuit and Midnight Slash to increase your overall damage output.

This is effective for teamfights or securing boss Pokemon.

Catch Up to Enemies

You can also use Psycho Cut's slow effect to catch up to fleeing targets. Its range is enough to hit enemies out of Night Slash's or Pursuit's range.

Please, update the description of this move. It's still saying it only work with basic attacks. Thank you.
