Recover Effect

Grants the user a shield for a short time. While the shield effect is active, the user's movement speed is increased, and the user recovers HP based on the amount of damage it takes from opposing Pokemon. When the user takes enough damage from opposing Pokemon for the shield effect to be removed, all of the user's move cooldowns are reduced, and the Mega gauge increases.

How to Use Recover

Turn Defense into Offense

Use Recover to allow Mewtwo to push the aggression during fights. The move increases Mewtwo's movement speed and grants it a shield that heals the Pokemon when it recieves damage, giving it mobility and protection to push the offense.

Utilize the Cooldown Reduction Effect

Moreover, when Mewtwo receives enough damage for the shield to be removed, all of its move cooldowns are reduced. Utilize this mechanic to spam Recover and the other move and repeat the process, allowing Mewtwo to keep the offense going.

1.11.1.4 Cooldown increased from 8s ▸ 10s.
