Night Slash Effect

Night Slash In-Game.jpg

Has the user dash in an outward arc, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon. If this first attack hits, a second attack can also be performed. The second attack has the user dash straight ahead, dealing damage to opposing Pokemon and increasing the user's critical-hit rate. The lower the opposing Pokemon's HP, the more the user's critical-hit rate is increased.

Second Attack Lasts for 5 Seconds

Heals for 50% of the Damage Dealt

Pokemon UNITE - Night Slash - HP Recovery Effect

How to Use Night Slash

Target Squishy or Low HP Opponents

Pokemon UNITE - Absol Attacking Decidueye with Night Slash
Night Slash is a direct upgrade from Feint and adds a follow-up forward strike once the intiial strike connects. This move also has increased Critical Hit Rate based on the target's current HP, allowing you to finish off wounded opponents quicker. Go for this if you prefer a more direct and open combat approach into the later stages in the game.

Missing won't Trigger the Second Activation

Pokemon UNITE - Absol Not hitting Mamoswine with Night Slash

When targetting with this move, make sure that the enemy is within the reticle, otherwise the move will not connect and the second activation will be lost. Though it has decent range, you can set up a sure hit by getting close with Sucker Punch.

Get Back if Night Slash Doesn't Hit

Pokemon UNITE - Get Back if Night Slash Doesn

If you miss Night Slash, get to safety quickly. This prevents enemies from taking advantage of the situation and knocking you out. You can go back in once Night Slash is ready again.

Utilize the HP Recover Effect

Pokemon UNITE - NIght Slash - Utilize HP Recovery Effect

Once Night Slash is upgraded, Absol can now recover HP when it hits enemies with Night Slash's second attack. Utilize this effect to stay alive in fights.

Tip: Use the second attack on grouped enemies or wild Pokemon to maximize the healing.
