Players need to complete the main story and unlock the Infinite Z-A Royale. After participating in one Reward Battle, return to Hotel Z and speak to L to start The One that Gives.
To complete The One That Gives, head to Mable's Lab and speak to her. She will tell you about the Pokemon Xerneas, before sending you off to capture or defeat Alpha Pokemon in Wild Zones 3, 5, and 9.
Xerneas can be found in Wild Zone 11 roaming around the area. If you fail to catch it, you can always leave the area and return to restart the encounter.

Players need to complete the main story and unlock the Infinite Z-A Royale. After participating in one Reward Battle, return to Hotel Z and speak to L to start The One that Takes.
Unlock the Yveltal encounter by travelling to the Nouveau Cafe and speaking with Grisham and Griselle. They will tell you to meet them at Quasartico Inc., where Vinnie will ask you to defeat three Rogue Mega Pokemon in the Rogue Mega Evolution Simulator 3000.
Once the training is over, head over to the rooftop of Rouge Sector 2 and glide to the dome. Interact with the center to trigger the Yveltal encounter. If you fail to catch Yveltal, you can always leave the area and return to restart the encounter.

Players need to have both Xerneas and Yveltal to unlock the quest to catch Zygarde. After catching both Legendary Pokemon, return to Hotel Z and L will approach you, starting To Keep the World in Balance. Defeat him in battle and Zygarde will lead you to the tower.
Look for Zygarde in Wild Zone 20, and battle it. Once you defeat Zygarde, L will tell you that it has recognized your strength. Throw any Poke Ball and it will be a guaranteed capture.
The Zygarde battle works similarly to Rogue Mega Pokemon Battles. You will be in a stadium with Zygarde, with it switching between forms as its HP depletes. Below 50% HP, it will transform into its Complete Form.

You can obtain Eternal Flower Floette and its Floettite Mega Stone after winning 15 Reward Battles in the Infinite Z-A Royale. You can find Taunie and Floette at Quasartico Inc. after completing 15 battles.
Reward Battles replace Promotion Battles from the regular Z-A Royale. Instead of ranking up, these battles reward you with tickets to spend on training items!
