How to Unlock Here in Lumiose City

Complete All Side Missions

SM 199 Naveen

Side Mission 200: Here in Lumiose City unlocks after you complete all side missions in the game up until Side Mission 199. You must also complete all main missions as well as all Hyperspace Missions in the DLC.

It does not seem like EX missions are required to unlock this quest, so you do not have to do the missions from Mystery Gifts.

Enter Hotel Z

After you've completed all side missions, go to Hotel Z. You should receive a call from your rival—either Urbain or Taunie—which will start this side mission.

Take note that Side Mission 200 will not appear on your map until you start this quest, which means you may miss this side mission altogether if you don't return to Hotel Z at any point after completing all missions in the game.

Get the Password from Room 201

Magazines on Taunie

Your rival needs you to find a password on a piece of paper in their room. Use the elevator at Hotel Z to head to the 2F.

At the second floor, turn left and enter the room at the end of the hall: Room 201. Investigate the magazines on the bed in order to find the password, but feel free to snoop around if you're curious about the other things in your rival's room.

Urbain or Taunie will arrive at Hotel Z with Jett, then ask you for a Pokemon battle. Their team will vary slightly depending on which rival you are facing and which starter Pokemon you chose at the very beginning of the game.

Urbain's Meowstic will be male, while Taunie's Meowstic will be female, though there appear to be no differences between them in terms of stats or moves in this battle. The final evolution forms of the starter Pokemon in this game will be on both rivals' teams, but the starter Pokemon you chose will not be a part of their team.

Your rival will Mega Evolve four Pokemon on their team upon sending them out. They may also switch out their Pokemon if they're at a disadvantage against the Pokemon you've sent out, so don't hesitate to switch your Pokemon accordingly as well.

For this battle, it's recommended to have a Dark-type, a Fairy-type, a Ground-type, and a Fire-type Pokemon in your party to best counter your rival's Pokemon. You can use Legendary Pokemon for each of these types if you want to make the battle easier.

However, if you feel like it's a little unfair to use a team of Legendaries against your rival, who doesn't have any Legendaries, you can use other strong Pokemon instead. For the last 2 slots on your team, you can bring your starter Pokemon or any other Pokemon you trust and feel comfortable using.

It's recommended to choose Pokemon who can Mega Evolve, since Taunie and Urbain Mega Evolve over half their team. Make sure that all the Pokemon you bring are level 100 before taking on your rival. All of your rival's Pokemon will be at level 100 as well. Defeat Urbain or Taunie to progress the quest.

Chat with Taunie at the Roof of Hotel Z

Use the elevator to head to the roof of Hotel Z. Your rival will start to reminisce about your whole adventure in Lumiose City. There are no right or wrong answers for the questions they ask, so feel free to answer however you'd like.

After recounting the whole story of Pokemon Legends: Z-A, the quest will end.
