To unlock A Haunting Experience, you will need to play until you have reached Main Mission 35. This will require you to return to Hotel Z after completing Main Missions 32, 33, and 34.

You may accept the mission from Malé, who is found on the rooftop of the Justice Dojo.

The Holovator that can give you easy access to this rooftop is locked behind the quest We'll Just Muscle Our Way Through. You may want to unlock the Holovator first before taking on A Haunting Experience.

There is still a way to get to Malé without unlocking this Holovator if you use the ladder in Jaune Sector 2 and jump across the rooftops, but this method is more difficult and inconvenient.

You will have to battle Malé using a team that only consists of Ghost-type Pokemon. Since Malé's strongest Pokemon is at Level 58, you might want to level up your Pokemon to match her levels.

If you do not have enough Ghost-type Pokemon to form a team, it is ideal to try to catch Alpha Pokemon. They are already strong and come at a relatively high level, so you will not need to train them that much.

It is best to use Ghost and Dark-type moves for the type advantage. You may also use healing items liberally if you are taking a lot of damage.
