How to Beat Rintaro (Rank W)
Use a Weak Attack to Trigger Protect
All three of Rintaro's Pokemon knows Protect and will always use it as an opening move. Before you use your main offensive move, use a weak attack first to trigger the damage negation of Protect.
Switch Pokemon Accordingly
Each of the "Simi" trio has different weaknesses and resistances. Pay attention to which Pokemon Rintaro sends in and switch out a counter for it when necessary.
Type Chart and Team Matchup Checker
Avoid Psychic or Ghost Pokemon
As much as possible, do not bring Psychic or Ghost Pokemon in this match as all the trio knows Bite, a Dark-type move that deals super effective damage to both aforementioned types.
How to Fight Rintaro (Rank W)
Earn 5,000 Ticket Points
Rintaro is fought during Story Mission 8: Reaching Rank V. You'll need to earn a total of 5,000 Ticket Points to get a Challenge Ticket to fight Rintaro in a Promotion Match.

Restaurant Le Nah
Rintaro is located in Restaurant Le Nah in Vert Sector 6. This is a fast travel point that you can go to instantly if you've been here before. You can find Rintaro at the reception inside.
