There are 6 Species of wild Pokemon in Wild Zone 8. None of these Pokemon spawn exclusively at a certain time of day or weather.
Drilbur and Gible Spawn in the Same Dirt Mound

Drilbur and Gible share the same dirt mound spawn points in this area. Drilbur is the more common encounter overall, while Gible appears more frequently in the central dirt area of the Wild Zone. You can tell which Pokemon is hiding underground by what’s poking out. A snout with a red nose indicates a Drilbur, while a blue fin means it’s a Gible.

A level 38 Krokorok is the only fixed Alpha spawn in this Wild Zone, and can be found in the northwest section. Upon completing the Zone's progress to 100%, there will be a 5%-10% chance for an Alpha version of other regular Pokemon in the area to spawn.

You can use the Fast Travel method in Wild Zone 8 to reroll for a Shiny Gible or a Shiny Drilbur. However, a normal Gible already has a low spawn rate, so seeing a Shiny Gible is extremely rare.
Alternatively, you can use the Bench found northwest of the Wild Zone to reroll the Pokemon by resetting the time instead.

Unlocked During Main Mission 10
Unlock Wild Zone 8 by progressing to Main Mission 10. Afterwards, you’ll be able to access this Wild Zone in Jaune Plaza.
