Ranked Battle Season 6 in Pokemon Legends: Z-A will run from January 29 to February 19, 2026, providing the Swampertite as the Ranked Reward for reaching Rank S. Read on to learn more about Ranked Battle Season 5, how to get the Swampertite, the legal and banned Pokemon, and rules.

Season 6 of Ranked Battles will run from January 29, 2026 until February 19, 2026. This Ranked Battle event feature the Swampertite Mega Stone, which allows you to get Mega Swampert.

The Season 6 ruleset allows for all Pokemon in the Lumiose Pokedex and Hyperspace Pokedex! However, you can only use one Restricted Pokemon on your team.
All regional forms and Mega Evolutions of Pokemon within both Pokedexes are also allowed to participate!

Despite being able to be used ion this Season, you can only have one of the Pokemon listed above in your team! This limitation, does not extend to Mythical Pokemon and Sub Legendary Pokemon!
Details of Legal Teams & Pokemon
- A player’s team cannot contain two Pokémon with the same Lumiose or Hyperspace Pokedex number.
- A player’s team cannot contain more than one Restricted Legendary Pokémon.
- All Pokemon will have their stats scaled to Level 50.
- Two Pokemon cannot hold the same item.
- Regional Forms of all Pokemon within Lumiose Dex #001 until #232 and Hyperspace Dex #001 until #132 are legal.

You can obtain the Swampertite once you reach Rank S in Season 6. If you are not able to obtain the Sceptilite, Baxcalibrite, Chesnaughtite, Delphoxite, and Greninjite during the previous seasons, you can also get these Mega Stones upon reaching Rank Y to U, respectively.
You can also receive Mega Shards and other Items as you climb through this season's ladder.

Players who have reached certain milestones during Season 6 will receive rewards after each season ends and the results are announced and are the based on the results of your battles. Players need to finish at least one match with a win or loss during the season to be eligible for rewards.
Season 6 Ruleset
- You will obtain Points depending on your Rank and Actions Taken. Even if you lose, you will receive points.
- You cannot go down a rank once your tier has been raised. No matter how many times you lose, your Tier will stay the same.
- An Internet connection is required in playing Ranked Battles. You will need an Nintendo Switch Online Subscription to participate in all online activities in Pokemon including Ranked Battles.
