Patch 2.0.1 for Pokemon Legends: Z-A was released on January 22, 2026, and increases the max amount of Mega Shards and allows you to buy Berries in bulk. Read on to learn the full patch notes for this update and when it released.`

・You can now purchase multiple berries at once at the berry stand. ・After the DLC's story begins, you are now able to purchase berries from the staff at Nouveau Cafe 3. ・The maximum number of Mega Fragments that can be held has been increased from 999 to 9999. ・Fixes the bug where when certain Pokemon uses a move, it may move in a direction other than the target. ・Fixes a bug where the weather will stay stuck on sunny. ・For Shiny Pokemon that were obtained before the DLC, if you obtain a Mega Stone that can be obtained in the DLC, the Shiny Pokemon's Dex Entry will not be registered in the Mega Evolution Pokedex. ・During certain missions, images of unrelated scenes may appear. ・If the Investigation Points reach the upper limit, Side Mission 188 "Start Special Scanning!" may not be cleared. ・Fixed other issues. |

After the Version 2.0.1 update, the cap for Mega Shards has been raised from 999 to 9,999! This should make it easier to grind for TMs, Mega Stones, and Drives for Genesect!

After the Version 2.0.1 update, players are now able to buy Berries in bulks of 10, 50, and 100! Additionally, after starting the DLC, an NPC at Nouveau Cafe 3 will now start selling every type of Berry.

On Wednesday, January 22nd, the version 2.0.1 update for Pokémon Legends: Z-A has been released!
This update comes with fixes for bugs and adjustments to item aquisition. Be sure to download this update to access online functionability.
