Hyper Training IVs or Individual Values help a Pokemon's stats increase in Pokemon Legends: Z-A. Learn about how to hypertrain and what trainers need in order to increase a Pokemon's IVs.

How to Hyper Train and Increase a Pokemon's IVs

Exchange Bottle Caps at the Justice Dojo

Gold and Regular Bottle Caps

To Hyper Train and increase IVs, players can do so at the Justice Dojo by talking to an NPC. Bottle Caps are received as rewards from Mable's Research when reaching level 36 (10 Bottle Caps) and level 48 (3 Gold Bottle Caps). Using Gold Bottle Caps increases 6 Pokemon stats while regular Bottle Caps can only increase them one at a time.

Players can also receive Bottle Caps as rewards from Infinite Z-A Royale.

Alpha Pokemon Have at Least 3 Perfect IVs

Alpha Pokemon IVs

Players can opt to catch Alpha Pokemon since they have at least 3 Perfect IVs. These Pokemon would have less stats to maximize.

Unlock and Use the Judge Feature

Judge Function
Players can check a Pokemon's IVs through the Judge function, which is unlocked after finishing the game. The judge function will show each stat's quality in the Pokemon summary screen.
