Emma is a returning character in Pokemon Legends: Z-A who will give you detective tasks. Learn Emma's role in Legends Z-A and her appearance in previous Pokemon games.

Who is Emma?
Best Detective in Lumiose
Emma is known as the best detective in Lumiose City. With her partner Espurr, she is trying to solve the strange phenomenon of Rogue Mega Pokemon.
She received the detective role during the events of Pokemon XY, from another detective named Looker. In that story, she was forced to wear an Expansion Suit, which she still wears under her trench coat.
Gives Detective Work
She will give detective work as side missions. Some of these tasks include finding lost pokemon, procuring items, or fighting other Pokemon.
Emma's Role in Previous Games
Appeared in the Post-Game of Pokemon XY
Emma first appeared in Pokemon X and Y in the Looker Bureau questline. She was an orphan living in the alleyways with an Espurr. Eventually, she was taken in by Looker.
Then, she was forcibly controlled by Team Flare scientist Xerosic with an Expansion Suit. After you defeat her and Xerosic, Looker entrusts the Looker Bureau to her and she becomes the head detective.
