A Shiny Diggersby has a more muted palette than its normal variant. While its fur has turned to a darker shade of gray, its ear tips, feet, sides, and mouth changed to a light gray color with the middle of its belly now colored brown.

The best spot to hunt Shiny Diggersby is at Wild Zone 17 in Vert District, unlocked after completing Main Mission 24.

Players may also hunt for a Shiny Chespin at this location, albeit as a rare spawn.

How to Shiny Hunt (Bench Method)

Fast travel to Wild Zone 17.

Head to the bench near the southern entrance.

Rest at the Bench Repeatedly to Spawn Shiny Chespin
Rest on the bench repeatedly to reroll the spawns in the vicinity.

Note that Shiny Pokemon do not disappear when spawned, hence, players are free to continuously rest without missing the Shiny.

After resting a few times, check the holes nearby to see if a Shiny Diggersby spawned.

Note that players will need to check each hole as the spawn cannot be seen from the bench and the Shiny sound has a small range of effect to hear.
⑤ How to Manually Save
Save the game once the Shiny Diggersby appears. This acts as a failsafe in case players fail the capture that can despawn and reset the Shiny status.

How to Shiny Hunt (Fast Travel Method)

Fast travel to Wild Zone 17.
② Enter Wild Zone 17
Enter Wild Zone 17 after the fast travel.

After entering the Wild Zone, open the map and fast travel back to Wild Zone 17 again. This rerolls the encounters in the vicinity.

This action can be looped by pressing:
Y→A→+→A→A
