Respawn at a Pokemon Center When Dying
When your character gets hit directly by a lot of Pokemon moves, your character will black out. This will cause you to lose the battle, and you will respawn at a Pokemon Center afterward.
Lose Money When Blacking Out From Trainer Battles
Similar to previous Pokemon games, you will lose money when you lose a battle against another Trainer.
Restart from Before the Trainer Battle
However, when you lose against another Trainer, you will respawn at the moment before the battle starts instead.
Retry After Losing to a Rogue Mega Evolution
One of the new features in Pokemon Legends: Z-A is the ability to battle against Rogue Mega Evolutions, and when you lose against them, you will be given a prompt to retry and battle the Rogue Mega that defeated you again.
