Mega Dimension DLC Release Date
Available December 10, 2025
The Mega Dimension DLC is set to release on December 10, 2025! The release date was released during the November 2025 news update about the DLC.
As of writing, there has been no confirmed release time yet, so please stay tuned!

Can Be Pre-Ordered for $29.99
The Mega Dimension DLC can be pre-ordered from the Nintendo eShop for $29.99 before it comes out in December. Players who pre-order the DLC will also obtain pre-order bonuses!
Mega Dimension New Mega Evolutions
Mega Lucario Z
Mega Lucario Z was revealed on December 2, 2025. It is a Z Mega Evolution of Lucario, which allows it to execute moves more quickly at the cost of using more Mega Power.
It is currently unrevealed how the Mega Stone for this Mega Evolution can be obtained.
Mega Zeraora
Mega Zeraora was revealed on November 19, 2025. This new Mega Evolution for a Mythical Pokemon is said to be difficult to obtain, so it is speculated that it might take completing a few missions in the DLC before you can obtain this Pokemon.
Mega Zeraora retains its original form's mono-Electric typing.
Mega Baxcalibur and Mega Chimeco
Two new Mega Evolutions were revealed in the trailer, Mega Baxcalibur and Mega Chimecho.
Mega Baxcalibur's Mega Stone will be available as a Ranked Battle reward during Season 4.

Two new Mega Evolutions for Raichu is set to release in the DLC! Mega Raichu will have an X and a Y variant similar to Charizard and Mewtwo!
Mega Dimension DLC New Features and Content
Explore Hyperspace Lumiose
The Mega Dimension DLC will follow Team MZ as you investigate different spatial distortions happening around Lumiose City.
As post-game story for the main story, it will follow after the main events involving Zygarde! The Mythical Pokemon Hoopa will also play a significant role in the story.
Make Donuts With Ansha
Use Berries to make Donuts with Ansha to feed Hoopa and enter the Hyperspace Lumiose!
Donuts also provide your party with a Level Boost, allowing you to make your party go beyond level 100!

Battle Level 100+ Pokemon
Pokemon that are beyond level 100, which is currently the max level a Pokemon can reach in the game, will appear in the DLC. It is best to prepare your team to fight Pokemon that have reached levels that were not possible before!
Mega Dimension DLC Returning Pokemon
Hoopa
In the DLC, Hoopa will be tagging along with a character named Ansha. The two will be able to open portals to a weird version of Lumiose, called Hyperspace Lumiose, using special donuts.
Other Pokemon
New Pokemon that were not available in the base game were shown in the November 2025 news update trailer. Corviknight, Golurk, Musharna, and other Pokemon were spotted in the video.

Moves from Previous Games Return
Several moves from previous games will return in Mega Dimension and can be used by both Pokemon from the base game and those returning with the DLC.

Mega Dimension DLC Characters
Ansha
Ansha is a new character that will be introduced in the Mega Dimension DLC for Pokemon Legends: Z-A. She introduces herself to Team MZ with a befriended Hoopa.
Successor Korrina
Korrina is a returning character from Pokemon X and Y that will be reintroduced in the Mega Dimension DLC for Pokemon Legends: Z-A.
How to Unlock Mega Dimension DLC
Only Accessible Post-Game
The Mega Dimension DLC is only available after you have completed the base game's story. It is still unknown if you also need to complete the Main Missions past the credits roll, but we recommend finishing those before the DLC is released on December 2025.

Mega Dimension DLC Pre-Order Bonuses
Obtain the X-Suit and Y-Suit on the Base Game's Release!
If you have purchased the DLC before February 28, 2026, you can receive the X-Suit and Y-Suit for your player character! This Mystery Gift will be available and can be worn upon the release of the base game. It is currently unknown if these outfits can have their color changed.
