Donuts that are made using Sweet Berries give the highest chance of rolling Sparkling Power Lv. 3 and Alpha Power Lv. 3, greatly increasing your odds of encountering Shiny and Alpha Pokemon.
We recommend the Hyper Haban Berry as the best berry to use, despite having lower Sweetness compared to the Hyper Tanga Berry, since it also has Freshness, which can give Encounter Power, which makes shiny hunting easier due to the reduced time a Pokemon respawns after being KOed.
Simply use as many of these berries as you can when making donuts, and try to roll for a Donut with Sparkling Power, Alpha Power, and Encounter Power!
| Berry | Rank/Stats |

| Hyper Kasib Berry | [Berry Ranking]: ★★★★★ Sour: 95 |
| Hyper Roseli Berry | [Berry Ranking]: ★★★★★ Sour: 85 |
| Hyper Colbur Berry | [Berry Ranking]: ★★★★☆ Sour: 65 |

| Hyper Aspear Berry | [Berry Ranking]: ★★★☆☆ Sour: 40 |
Donuts that are made using Sour Berries give the highest chance of rolling Big Haul and Item Power, which should help in farming more berries to use for making more donuts.
Use as many of these berries as you can, and try to obtain donuts with Big Haul and Item Power: Berries to farm berries more efficiently in Hyperspace Wild Zones!

Special Donuts are required to enter Specific Hyperspace Dimensions, featuring encounters with Legendary Pokemon from previous games. These Legendary Pokemon will also be in their Mega Forms, or their Primal Forms in the case of Kyogre and Groudon.
Special Donuts can only be made after receiving the Recipe, which will be given to you by various NPC once you progress the related Missions.
If you do not have the required Hyper Berries to make the Special Donuts, you can take on Level 4 Hyperspace Wild Zones to get the ingredients.

Talk to Ansha in Hotel Z to make donuts. Ansha will be staying in the hotel after you complete the side mission, Donuts of Unworldy Deliciousness!, which is the first side mission of the Mega Dimension DLC.
Mega Dimension DLC Story Walkthrough

Once you have reached the donut creation screen, choose a Berry from the left-side to make your donut. The flavor of the Berry determines the Level Boost, Donut Energy, and Flavor Score of the donut. Flavor Score has a variety of effects, so try combining different berries.
You can only select up to three Berries at the start. Progressing the DLC story lets you increase the number of Berries you can use to make donuts.

You can continue making new donuts even after the donut is completed. If you have the ingredients, you can make another donut of the same type.
Despite the game Auto-saving after making Donuts, you can reroll donuts by using your Backup Save. Simply press UP, X, and B, at the same time on the Title Screen, and choose to use your Backup Save to reload the state just before the Donut is made.
This allows you to conserve berries, especially Hyper Berries which can be harder to find, as well as roll for the perfect Donuts with a combination of Sparkling Power and Alpha Power to make Shiny Alpha hunting much easier!

Making Donuts with Ansha provides a level boost which increases your Party's level based on the Donut's Flavor Score.
Donuts with high Level Boosts allow your Pokemon to exceed the Level Cap, allowing your own Pokemon to stand a chance against the Hyperspace wild Pokemon that are all above Level 100!

Donut Energy, measured in Calories, determines the amount of time you can Survey the Hyperspace.
Each Berry has a corresponding Calorie count, with Hyper Berries having significantly more Calories compared to regular berries.

Flavor Score gives your Donut recipe a 1-5 Star Rating, depending on the Flavor Score you achieve from the Graph.
Each Berry has points in either Spicy, Sweet, Sour, Bitter, or Fresh, which all contribute to Flavor Score that will give a multiplier to Level Boost and Donut Energy.
| Flavor | Flavor Powers/Effect |
|---|---|
| Spicy | Move Power, Speed Power, Attack Power, Sp. Atk Power Increases skill power and attack power |
| Sour | Big Haul Power, Item Power, Mega Power Charging, Mega Power Conservation Increases item collection efficiency |
| Fresh | Encounter Power, Capture Power Increases capture and encounter rates |
| Bitter | Resistance Power, Defense Power, Sp. Def Power Reduces damage and increases durability |
| Sweet | Sparkling Power, Alpha Power, Humungo Power, Teensy Power For carefully selecting sizes and colors |
Flavor Score is an added bonus effect given when you make a donut. It can give you an advantage in battle, as well as help you collect items more efficiently and capture Pokemon.
Additionally, increasing the flavor score also increases the likelihood of getting a specific Flavor Power. Flavor Powers, however are randomly rolled so there is no way to know which flavor power you will get until the Donut is made.

To enter Hyperspace Wild Zones in the Mega Dimension, Hoopa needs to eat Donuts, which will then provide your character an survey timer, and Level Buffs, depending on the Donut you create.
