How to Unlock Becoming a Furfrou Trimmer
Unlock Main Mission 19
To unlock Becoming a Furfrou Trimmer, you will need to progress through the story until you unlock Main Mission 19, Reaching Rank D. Once that's been done, you will unlock this Side Mission.

You can accept this quest from Mirte, who can be found beside a building that's beside Jaune Sector 10 and close to Wild Zone 11. You can fast travel there or to Wild Zone 8 if you want get to her quickly.
Becoming a Furfrou Trimmer Walkthrough
Use Slash on the Substitute Doll
This quest is very easy to complete since all you need to do is use Slash on the Substitute doll. It's a very common move that a lot of Pokemon can learn, and the free Absol that you get from the story should know it by default.

Furfrou Customization
Completing this Side Mission will also unlock the ability to customize the appearance of your Furfrou! A haircut will cost 500 Poke Dollars each time, so it's not too expensive to try all the styles to see which one you like most.
Only Three Styles are Unlocked Initially
As a note, only the Diamond, Heart, and Star Trims will be unlocked when completing this quest. The other variations will be unlocked later after other Side Missions are completed.
