A Shiny Terrakion has a lighter brown body with red horns while a normal Terrakion has a grey body and brown horns.
Terrakion can be found in Hyperspace Wild Zones that are detected via a special scan. You can run a special scan from Philippe at the Rust Syndicate.
You need to earn 25,000 Hyperspace Survey Points to run a scan, which you can get from completing tasks while inside Hyperspace Wild Zones.
Once you enter a Hyperspace Wild Zone that is detected via a special scan, you will receive a notification from Mable in your Rotom phone to inform you whether the zone contains Terrakion.
| 1 | From the starting point, head left and turn right from the tree. Go down the stairs and use the Holovator on the right to reach the rooftop. Once you are at the rooftop turn left to find Terrakion. |
|---|---|
| 2 | ![]() When you arrive at the rooftop where you can see Terrakion on the left, save your game. This is so that you can reload your game from this spot in case you run out of calories while trying to spawn a Shiny Terrakion. |
| 3 | To start shiny hunting Terrakion, use the warp zone farthest from Terrakion to teleport away from the Pokemon. This causes Terrakion to repeatedly spawn and despawn. If you run out of calories and no Shiny Terrakion has spawned yet, load the game and try again. If a Shiny Terrakion has spawned, save your game first then catch the Shiny Pokemon. |
Make sure to create a donut that has Sparkling Power: Fighting (Lv. 3). This increases the chances of obtaining a Shiny Terrakion when combined with the Shiny Charm.
Use a Hyper Haban Berry to get the highest chance of rolling Sparkling Power and Encounter Power. Both effects are useful for shiny hunting due to it reducing the time a Pokemon respawns after being KOed.

Once you see a Shiny Terrakion, they will not despawn if you don't interact with them. However, some Pokemon may get nervous and flee, which does despawn them, so you should save your game before you attempt to catch the Shiny Pokemon.

You can get the Shiny Charm as a milestone reward in Mable’s Research. The Shiny Charm increases the chances of encountering Shiny Pokemon.
Complete her requests to raise your level to Level 50 to receive the Shiny Charm.
