Mega Meganium Best Nature and Moveset for Story

Bold or Calm

Nature Stat Changes
Bold Defense, Attack
Calm SpDef, Attack

Due to Meganium having very high Defensive stats, its best natures are either Bold or Calm to boost its Defense or Special Defense further.

Meganium also has a better Special Attack stat compared to its Attack, so choosing one of the above natures allows Meganium to still deal some damage with its Special Moves.

Alternative Natures

Nature Stat Changes
Relaxed Defense, Speed
Sassy SpDef, Speed

You can also give Meganium either Relaxed or Sassy nature, allowing you to increase your Defense or Special Defense at the cost of reduced Speed.

Keep in mind that giving Meganium any of the above two natures will increase the cooldown of moves, putting you at a disadvantage against faster Pokemon.

Use Mints to Change Natures

Mint Usage

If your Meganium has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.
Mints Locations and How to Change Nature

Best Meganium Moveset for the Story

Move Type Cooldown
Light Screen Pokemon Psychic Type Icon 12
Giga Drain Pokemon Grass Type Icon 9
Dazzling Gleam Pokemon Fairy Type Icon 8
Reflect Pokemon Psychic Type Icon 12

We recommend the moves Giga Drain, Light Screen, Dazzling Gleam, and Reflect when using Meganium during the main story.
