How to Get Genesect in Pokemon Legends: Z-A Mega Dimension DLC

Complete Side Mission 191: Collecting Four Drives

Genesect Side Mission

You can catch Genesect during the Collecting Four Drives Side Mission. You can get this mission once you purchase all Genesect Drives from an NPC near Wild Zone 17 who sells new TMs and Feathers.

Collecting Four Drives Walkthrough (Side Mission 191)

Purchase Drives from NPC

The NPC selling TMs and Feathers will begin selling Drives once you have defeated Rayquaza. You need to purchase the Douse, Shock, Burn, and Chill Drives to progress through the quest. Each Drive costs 540 Mega Shards, which totals to 2160 Mega Shards.

If you do not have this many Mega Shards, you can hop into Hyperspace Wild Zones and destroy shards as you explore the area. It is also recommended to max out your Pink Canari Plush to get as many shards as you can.

Find the Genesect Distortion

After purchasing all four Drives, the NPC will tell you about a portal where you can encounter Genesect.

This is found inside Wild Zone 13, at the facade of a building.

Battle and Catch Genesect

Catching Genesect

Enter the portal and follow the rocky path leading to the Level 200 Genesect. Defeat and catch Genesect to complete the Side Mission.
