How to Unlock A Tale of Mystery
Complete A Work of Great Love
A Tale of Mystery only appears once you have completed the preceding side mission, A Work of Great Love.

Defeat Korrina in Hyperspace Mission 1
A Work of Great Love unlocks after defeating Korrina in a Pokemon battle during the events of Hyperspace Mission 1.

Find Crivain sitting on the chair outside of Cafe Triste and speak with him to start the side mission.
A Tale of Mystery Walkthrough
Show Crivain the Pokemon He Requires in Your Party
Crivain will list five Pokemon that he requires you to have in your party. The five Pokemon should fit the criteria listed below:
- An Alpha Pokemon.
- A Normal-Type Pokemon.
- A Dark-Type Pokemon.
- A Pokemon that knows Teleport.
- A Fighting-type Pokemon.
You can use Pokemon that you have caught already that fits Crivain's requirements to complete the side mission. If you are missing one of the required Pokemon, you can check these suggestions on where to catch them.
The easiest method to catch an Alpha Pokemon is to find one in early game Wild Zones. Catch a Fletchling and Houndour at Wild Zone 1 and Wild Zone 6 respectively for the second and third requirements.
For the fourth requirement, you can either catch an Abra or a Ralts and have it level up to Level 15 to learn Teleport. For the last requirement, you can catch a Pancham at Wild Zone 3.
Once you have five Pokemon that fit the criteria, talk to Crivain and choose I've brought them to complete the side mission.
