May Appear if AZ is a Central Character

The Eternal Flower Floette may make an appearance if its partner, AZ will feature as character in the game.

It previously only appeared in the ending cutscene of Pokemon X and Y and its flower as an easter egg in Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire.

This special Floette has not been obtainable in any of the mainline games, but it's possible that Legends: Z-A will be its first appearance similar to how Enamorus first appeared and became obtainable in Pokemon Legends: Arceus!

If Pokemon Legends: Z-A is set in the future after the events of Pokemon X and Y, then there's a high chance that the Eternal Flower Floette will at appear in the game since it only makes an appearance at the very end of X and Y when it finally reunites with AZ.

Who is the Eternal Flower Floette?

AZ's Partner Pokemon

The Eternal Flower Floette is a unique Floette and AZ's Partner Pokemon. As revealed in AZ's backstory, this Floette was one of the Pokemon that perished in the war in ancient Kalos when he ruled as its king.

Its death spurred AZ to create a machine to bring it back to life, but his grief caused him to turn the machine into the Ultimate Weapon to finally end the ancient Kalosian War.

While the machine indeed brought the Floette back to life, it did so by consuming the life force of the people and Pokemon. This caused the now immortal Floette to leave AZ, horrified at his friend's actions.

At the conclusion of Pokemon X and Y, AZ finally frees himself of his grief after battling the player character. It's at this point that the Floette, now the Eternal Flower Floette, descends from the sky and happily reunites with its partner.
