A recommended spot to hunt Shiny Kakuna is at Vert Sector 9 at Vert District, south of Lumiose City.

Wild Zone 2 Pokemon and How to Unlock

| ③ | If a Shiny Pokemon spawns, save your game first before trying to catch it. If no Shiny Pokemon spawns, keep fast travelling back to Wild Zone 2 until a shiny Pokemon spawns. |

One of the best spot to hunt Shiny Kakuna is at Magenta Sector 9 at Magenta District, northwest of Lumiose City.
Other Pokemon that can Shiny spawn are Swablu, Emolga, Patrat, Flabebe, Fletchling, Gastly, Mawile, Eevee, and Weedle.

| ② | The Kakuna will be seen hanging from the trees at the courtyard. If a Shiny Pokemon spawns, do save your game first before trying to catch it. If no Shiny Pokemon is spotted, repeat fast travelling to Cafe Triste until one spawns. |

Once you see a Shiny Kakuna, they will not despawn if you don't interact with them. However, some Pokemon may get nervous and flee, which does despawn them, so you should save your game before you attempt to catch the Shiny

You can get the Shiny Charm as a milestone reward in Mable’s Research. The Shiny Charm increases the chances of encountering Shiny Pokemon.
Complete her requests to raise your level to Level 50 to receive the Shiny Charm.
