A Shiny Gible has a bright blue color with a yellow belly, as opposed to the normal variant's darker shade of blue with a red belly.

The best spot to hunt Shiny Gible is at Wild Zone 8 at Jaune Plaza. This Wild Zone is unlocked after reaching Main Mission 10.

Note that Shiny Gible is among the most difficult Pokemon to Shiny Hunt in the game due to its low spawn rate. Additionally, a Shiny Garchomp is hard to acquire as well, as it is part of a large pool of Alpha Pokemon that can appear in Wild Zone 20.

How to Shiny Hunt (Fast Travel Method)

Wild Zone 8 Map
Fast travel to Wild Zone 8 for a chance to spawn Gible.

Gible Hole in Wild Zone 8
Check all the holes inside the zone. Note that Drilbur will commonly appear in these holes, with a low chance for Gible to spawn.
③ Exit Wild Zone 8 to retreat. Note that fast travel is disabled when spotted by a wild Pokemon, hence, players will need to leave the zone first before resetting the spawn.

Open the map and fast travel to Wild Zone 8 to reset the spawn. Continue repeating steps 2-4 until a Shiny Gible appears.

How to Shiny Hunt (Bench Method)

Wild Zone 8 Map
Fast travel to Wild Zone 8, but do not enter.

Bench Northwest of Wild Zone 8
Head to the bench northwest of Wild Zone 8.

Note that the bench may be a Battle Zone at night. Fast travel to any Pokemon Center instead and rest at the bench when it occurs.

Rest at the Northwest Bench
Rest at the bench repeatedly to reset the spawns in Wild Zone 8.

Gible Hole in Wild Zone 8
After resting a few times, head inside Wild Zone 8 again and check the holes to see if a Shiny Gible appeared.

Bench Northwest of Wild Zone 8
If a Shiny Gible did not spawn, return to the northwest bench and rest repeatedly again.
