Side Mission 120 Walkthrough

Donuts of Unworldly Deliciousness! Guide
1
Head to Hotel Z, and use the elevator to go to the roof. A cutscene will play out, introducing you to Ansha and Hoopa. This starts Side Mission 120.
2
Ansha will ask you and Team MZ for help in making donuts, and one of the things she needs is butter. Go to the market area of Magenta Sector 6. The entrance is found west of Nouveau Cafe (Truck No. 3).

Talk to the lady at the bread stall by the corner. She has one pack of Lumiosian Butter left, but an unlikely pair wants to take it from you.
3
Grisham's Pokemon:
Lv. 70 Pyroar
Lv. 71 Tyranitar
Lv. 72 Mega Charizard X

Tarragon's Pokemon:
Lv. 69 Hippowdon
Lv. 69 Diggersby
Lv. 71 Mega Excadrill
Take on Patissier Pair Grisham and Tarragon in a multi-battle to stake your claim on the butter. It is recommended to use Water-type Pokemon for this battle, though you may also want to use Ground-type moves against Mega Charizard X.
4
Return to Hotel Z, and show the butter to Ansha.
5
Talk to Ansha to make the donut. Lida will give you some Pecha Berries and Oran Berries, but you can use whichever Berries you want. Pick any 3 Berries, and Ansha will make a donut.
6
Ansha will rush off to the Saison Canalside at Jaune District near the Justice Dojo. Meet her there, and she will show you how Hoopa can create distortions after consuming a donut.
7
After entering the distortion, you'll split up into pairs. It doesn't matter which grouping option you select, since the result is the same.
8
Explore the area until you find an alleyway with scaffolding near a taxi. Before approaching the scaffolding, make sure you have some of your strongest Pokemon in your party.
9
A Mankey will be sitting on the scaffolding. When it spots you, you will enter a battle against a group of Lv. 110 Mankey . Although they're unevolved, their high level can make this a tough battle if your Pokemon levels are too low.

You may want to climb up the scaffolding to avoid getting hit yourself. You may also want to use ranged attacks if you're worried about your Pokemon's defenses.
10
After defeating the Mankey, Urbain and Naveen will arrive. You will then spot Ansha. Follow her to complete the mission and return to Lumiose.

Donuts of Unworldly Deliciousness! Walkthrough (Side Mission 120)

Hyperspace Mission 01 Walkthrough

Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 1 Guide
1
Once you get back to Hotel Z, Corbeau will call you and ask you to come to his office. Head to the Rust Syndicate Office in the Bleu District for a meeting with Corbeau and Vinnie.

Vinnie will give you 20 Ultra Balls before sending you on your way.
2 Head to Hotel Z to get some donuts from Ansha. You'll need at least 3 donuts, but it's recommended to make more if you can. Donuts are necessary to enter Hyperspace Lumiose, and the better the donut, the more bonuses you and your Pokemon can get.
▶︎ Donuts Recipes Guide
3
After you finish making donuts, Mable will call you to upgrade your Pokedex to add the Hyperspace Pokedex. More research requests from Mable that are related to Hyperspace Lumiose will also be available.

Now you have to find hyperspace distortions to enter. These spawn randomly, so check your map to find a Hyperspace Wild Zone you want to go to.
▶︎ Hyperspace Wild Zone Locations
4
Head to your chosen Hyperspace Wild Zone. Interact with the hyperspace distortion, then select a donut Hoopa can eat to determine how long you can stay in the hyperspace and how many levels your Pokemon will temporarily gain while there. You can reroll hyperspace distortions by sitting on a bench to change the time of day.
▶︎ How to Reroll Hyperspace Wild Zones
5
Upon entering Hyperspace Lumiose, you will be given three survey tasks. Complete these tasks to earn points.

For your first survey of Hyperspace Lumiose, you need to reach 7,000 points. You will need to enter multiple hyperspace distortions in order to reach this amount. If you didn't make enough donuts, head back to Hotel Z to get more from Ansha.
6 Once you've reached the 7,000 points requirement, Philippe will ask you to visit Corbeau's office. Head to the Rust Syndicate Office to talk to Corbeau.
7
Corbeau will ask you to guess which Trainer would be perfect to join you and your rival. You will have to go through all of the given options, because the real answer isn't here.

Korrina will appear once you've exhausted the options, and she'll challenge you to a battle.
8
Korrina's Pokemon:
Lv. 85 Machamp
Lv. 85 Hawlucha
Lv. 85 Sirfetch'd

Korrina specifically requests you to use Mega Evolution during the battle, so make sure to Mega Evolve one of your Pokemon before the battle ends. Her Pokemon are all Fighting-type, so it's recommended to use Fairy or Psychic-type Pokemon that can Mega Evolve such as Gardevoir.
9
If you don't have one yet, make a donut using only Hyperspace Berries at Hotel Z. You will need a donut with a 1-star rank to take on the hyperspace distortion in Rouge Sector 1.

Once you're ready, enter the Hyperspace Rouge Mega Arena south of Wild Zone 3.
10
You will arrive at the Hyperspace Disaster Arena where you can fight a Lv. 105 Rouge Mega Absol Z . This Pokemon is weak to Fairy-type moves, so it's recommended to use a Fairy-type that can Mega Evolve such as Gardevoir or Diancie.

Pick up black energy orbs during the battle to pause the timer on Hoopa's Donut Energy to prevent you from leaving the area too early.
11
Once you've defeated Mega Absol Z, you will have the opportunity to catch it. Select any Poke Ball you want, and throw it at Absol. This appears to be a guaranteed catch. You will receive an Absolite Z afterwards.
12
Break open the giant floating golden Poke Ball to receive a lot of Hyper Berries and Nice Butter. These will allow you to make higher quality donuts.

Hyperspace Mission 02 Walkthrough

Lebanne Arrives with a Bang! Guide
1
Back at Hotel Z, Lebanne will arrive, frantically looking for Ansha, and challenge you to a battle to help her calm down. Korrina will tell you about Z Mega Evolution before you can exit the hotel and enter the battle.

If you would like, you can test out Mega Absol Z by adding it to your party before fighting Lebanne and Gwynn.
2
Lebanne's Pokemon:
Lv. 73 Tyrantrum
Lv. 73 Noivern
Lv. 74 Mega Dragalge

Gwynn's Pokemon:
Lv. 73 Banette
Lv. 73 Gourgeist (Average)
Lv. 74 Mega Chandelure
Lebanne uses Dragon-type Pokemon, which are best dealt with using Ice-type moves. Gwynn uses Ghost-type Pokemon that are all weak to Ghost- and Dark-type moves, so Mega Absol Z is good against her team.

Take note that Naveen will be joining you in this battle, so you will have some support from him. Defeat the Sisters in Suffering to complete this mission.

Hyperspace Mission 03 Walkthrough

Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 2 Guide
1
Corbeau will ask you and Korrina to visit his office. Head to the Rust Syndicate Office to have another meeting with Corbeau and Vinnie. After the meeting, Vinnie will hand you another set of 20 Ultra Balls before sending you on your way.
2
You will need to amass 10,000 survey points to complete Survey No. 2. Make donuts at Hotel Z if you're in need of them. Thanks to the Nice Butter, you can now make donuts using 4 Berries instead of 3.
3
Enter hyperspace distortions to complete survey tasks. You will need to go to multiple hyperspace distortions to earn enough points. Distortions with Mega Stones and side missions have only one survey task each, so they're not the best to do for points, but the rewards make them worth doing.

You can complete the following side missions within hyperspace distortions:
139 - The Dauntless Raichu Duo
140 - A Message from Across Dimensions
141 - Rogue Mega Showdown
4
Once you reach 10,000 points and exit the hyperspace, Philippe will call and direct you to a Hyperspace Rogue Mega Arena near Bleu Plaza. For this hyperspace distortion, it is recommended to make a 2-star rank donut or a donut close to getting 2 stars if you don't have enough high-quality Berries.
5
The hyperspace distortion is located on the roof of a building in Bleu sector 6. To get here, use the scaffolding near Wild Zone 10 to climb up onto the rooftops.
6
Once you get onto the roof, go left and make your way across the rooftop until you see a ladder to an even higher roof. Climb this ladder, and you should see Korrina next to a hyperspace distortion.

Make sure the Pokemon in your party are the ones you want to bring before you give Hoopa your best donut and enter the hyperspace distortion.
7
Staraptor will be waiting in this Hyperspace Hunting Grounds. Approach it to start the battle with a Lv. 120 Rogue Mega Staraptor . It becomes a Fighting/Flying Pokemon upon Mega Evolving and is weak to Electric-, Ice-, Flying-, Psychic-, and Fairy-type moves.

When it starts charging up to attack, expect Mega Staraptor to chase after you. Make sure to dodge out of the way whenever it pops up to attack.
8
Defeat Mega Staraptor, and catch it in a Poke Ball of your choice in order to get its Staraptite Mega Stone.
9
Attack the golden Poke Ball to get a slew of new Hyper Berries as well as a pack of Great Butter.

Hyperspace Mission 04 Walkthrough

Le Musee et Le Cafe Guide
1
Ansha and Korrina want to explore Lumiose City with you as their guide. Head to the Lumiose Museum in the northern part of the city as your first stop.
2
Follow Ansha and Korrina around the museum. They will first look at the painting near the left corner of the ground floor.
3
Go up to the second floor and approach Ansha and Korrina near the holographic model of Lumiose City.
4
Go through the arch to the display of ancient Poke Balls from the Hisui Region.
5
Continue towards the statues of Dialga and Palkia. Ansha and Korrina will be checking out the painting of the Temple of Sinnoh behind the wall.
6
Make your way downstairs towards the statue of Lucario. Korrina will show Ansha the painting of the Tower of Mastery.
7
Now that your museum tour is done, head to Cafe Soleil found on the southwest part of the map. Talk to the waiter by the door to progress the mission.
8
Once you're done with your outing, make your way back to Hotel Z. Approach the rest of Team MZ in the lobby to finish the mission.

Hyperspace Mission 05 Walkthrough

A Boom from the Strategy Room Guide
1
Head to the strategy room at the Hotel Z lobby to investigate the source of the noise.
*
Gulpin will be hanging out by the front desk afterwards with a side mission that you can accept.

Hyperspace Mission 06 Walkthrough

Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 3 Guide
1 Corbeau summons you to his office once again. Go to the Rust Syndicate Headquarters for another meeting with him and Vinnie. Receive 20 Ultra Balls from Vinnie once more at the end of your meeting.
2
For Lumiose Survey No. 3, you'll need to obtain 15,000 survey points. If you're in need of donuts, make some with Ansha at Hotel Z. With the Great Butter, you can add up to 5 Berries now, making it easier to create higher-ranked donuts.

Hyperspace Battle Zones will start appearing on your map from this point on. These are similar to the nightly Battle Zones for the Z-A Royale, so if you prefer fighting trainers over catching Pokemon, you may want to get your points from these distortions instead.
3
Upon reaching 15,000 points, Philippe will tell you about the Hyperspace Rogue Mega Arena at Sushi High Roller. It is recommended to make a 3-star donut for this distortion.

If you don't have one, head to Hotel Z and give Ansha enough Hyper Berries to make one. If you're in need of more Berries, you can enter more hyperspace distortions and break open Poke Balls for a chance to get more Hyper Berries.
4
Once you're ready, enter the hyperspace distortion outside Sushi High Roller, and you'll end up in Hyperspace Sushi Paradise. Here, you will face off against a Lv. 140 Rogue Mega Tatsugiri (Curly Form) . It is recommended to use strong Fairy-type Pokemon against Mega Tatsugiri.

For its charge attack, Mega Tatsugiri will rise up and start shooting large balls of salmon roe at you. It's better to sprint instead of dodging to avoid this attack.
5
Catch Tatsugiri in any Poke Ball you want once you defeat it. You will then receive the Tatsugirinite, which can be used to Mega Evolve Tatsugiri.
6
Destroy the gold Bonus Ball for new Hyper Berries and the butter upgrade, Amazing Butter.

Hyperspace Mission 07 Walkthrough

Naveen's Not OK Guide
1
Back at Hotel Z, Naveens Scrafty has come to the lobby without Naveen. Use the elevator to go up to the 2F, and find his room.
2
Head towards Room 203 on the right side of the second floor to trigger a cutscene. Once Naveen's problem is solved, Corbeau will call and ask you to visit his office again.

Hyperspace Mission 08 Walkthrough

Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 4 Guide
1 Go to the Rust Syndicate Office, collect your 20 Ultra Balls, and start your hyperspace journey again. For this mission, you'll need to get 23,000 points from tasks in Hyperspace Lumiose.
2
Enter hyperspace distortions to complete tasks and earn points. If you're in need of donuts, head to Hotel Z and talk to Ansha to make donuts. With the Amazing Butter, you'll be able to use 6 Berries to make a donut.

3-star hyperspace distortions will now be available to take on. The higher the star rating, the more points you can earn, but you'll also need a 2- to 3-star donut to get through them more easily.
▶︎ Best Donut Recipes
3
Once you've obtained 23,000 points, Philippe will mark Hotel Richissime as the site of the next Rogue Mega Evolution. Go here to be greeted by an argument between Jacinthe and Griselle. They will ask you who is right. No matter which option you choose, they will not be pleased, and they will challenge you to a Pokemon battle.
4
Jacinthe's Pokemon:
Lv. 73 Carbink
Lv. 74 Sylveon
Lv. 75 Mega Clefable

Griselle's Pokemon:
Lv. 73 Camerupt
Lv. 74 Metagross
Lv. 75 Mega Pyroar
Griselle's Pokemon are all weak to Ground-type moves, so it's a good idea to use a Ground-type Pokemon that won't be weak to the opponent's typings such as Swampert. To deal with Jacinthe's Sylveon and Mega Clefable, it's recommended to use a Pokemon with a strong Poison-type move.

Lida will be joining you in this battle, and her Water-types Clauncher and Mega Starmie have a good match-up against Griselle's Pokemon.
5
After the battle, you'll be able to approach the hyperspace distortion found on the side of the lobby. This is a 3-star Hyperspace Rogue Mega Arena, so make sure to select a 3-star donut and have your Pokemon be at the maximum level of 100.
6
You will arrive at the Hyperspace Second-Sight Arena, which has a male Meowstic ready to Mega Evolve. Approach it to start the battle against a Lv. 150 Rouge Mega Meowstic-M . This Pokemon is weak to Bug-, Ghost-, and Dark-type moves. It has Light Screen, so Pokemon that favor physical attacks are better to use against it. Some recommended Pokemon are Absol, Scizor, and Greninja.
7
Mega Meowstic will put up a wall around it for its charge move. Find a section in the wall that looks a little different from the rest, with a glowing tile in the middle. This is a vulnerable spot that you can attack to break down Mega Meowstic's wall.

Once its wall is down, attack Mega Meowstic to stop it from charging up its unavoidable attack.
8
Once Mega Meowstic has been defeated, catch it in any Poke Ball you want. You will then receive its Meowsticite.
9
Break open the golden Poke Ball using a Pokemon move to obtain new Hyper Berries and some Supreme Butter.

Hyperspace Mission 09 Walkthrough

Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 5 Guide
1
After the cutscenes and dialogue, Corbeau will call to summon you to his office once more. Head to the Rust Syndicate Office. However, before you can enter Corbeau's office, Canari and Ivor will be blocking the way.
2
Canari's Pokemon:
Lv. 74 Ampharos
Lv. 74 Stunfisk
Lv. 75 Mega Eelektross

Ivor's Pokemon:
Lv. 73 Heracross
Lv. 74 Machamp
Lv. 75 Mega Falinks
Corbeau will be your partner for this fight against Canari and Ivor. Canari uses Electric-type Pokemon that are all weak to Ground-type moves, while Ivor uses Fighting types that are all weak to Flying-, Fairy-, and Psychic-type moves.

Flying-type Pokemon are not recommended to be used here, since they are weak to Canari's Pokemon, so try using Ground, Fairy, or Psychic types instead. Golurk is a good Pokemon to use, since it's immune to Electric and Fighting attacks.
3
After defeating Canari and Ivor and meeting with Corbeau, Vinnie will give you 30 Ultra Balls. For this survey mission, you will be tasked to collect 28,000 points from hyperspace distortions.

Make donuts with Ansha (you can now use 7 Berries at a time), then complete survey tasks inside Hyperspace Lumiose until you reach the survey points goal.
4
Once you reach 28,000 points, Philippe will tell you about the Hyperspace Rogue Mega Arena in Wild Zone 9. This is a 4-star distortion, so make sure to prepare a 4-star donut.

It's recommended to make a donut with a spicy and bitter flavor profile for a chance to get Flavor Powers that help with your offenses (spicy) or defenses (bitter).
▶︎ List of All Flavor Score Effects
5
Head to Wild Zone 9 when you're ready. From the entrance closest to Cafe Rouleau, make a left behind the battle court, then turn right into the first alleyway you pass by. If you haven't cleared the boulders here yet, use a Fighting, Ground, or Rock move to destroy them.
▶︎ How to Destroy Boulders
6 Investigate the distortion, give Hoopa your 4-star donut, and come face-to-face with a Heatran ready to Mega Evolve. Approach it to start the battle.
7
Lv. 180 Rogue Mega Heatran has a 4x weakness to Ground-type moves, so this is the best type to use against it. Consider using a Ground-type Pokemon like Swampert or Garchomp, who can also resist Mega Heatran's Fire-type moves.

For its charge move, it will shoot a beam of lava while steadily rotating. Sprint to avoid this attack.
8
Catch Heatran in the Poke Ball of your choice, and obtain its Heatranite.
9
Break open the golden Bonus Ball to obtain Hyper Berries and the butter upgrade, Hyperspace Butter.

Hyperspace Mission 10 Walkthrough

Mayhem at Midnight Guide
1
You're awoken from your sleep by a loud shout. Exit your room to find the others gathered in the hallway.
2
Go to Lida's Room 204 at the end of the hall, beside the portrait of a Furfrou. Enter it to check on Lida.

Hyperspace Mission 11 Walkthrough

Hyperspace Lumiose Survey No. 6 Guide
1
After that eventful night, Corbeau will call all of Team MZ to his office. Head to the Rust Syndicate Office at the Bleu District. Upon entering Corbeau's office, you will be transported into Hyperspace Lumiose.
2
Corbeau says that he's at a place surrounded by walls. To find him, first make your way towards Jacinthe, then turn left into the shopping area.
3
Turn right to head outside, then climb the scaffolding where Griselle is at. Go up the stairs behind Griselle, climb the ladder, go up the ramp, walk carefully across the beam, then Roto-Glide to the other side. Finally, climb the ladders to reach the roof.
4
Use the roof towards your right to go straight ahead. You should be able to see Grisham along the way. Once you reach him, turn right.
5
Go up the 3-level ramp. Follow the path of the rooftop until you reach a child.
6
Make your way across the bridge, going towards where the child is facing.
7
Look down from the edge of the roof. You should see Corbeau, Philippe, and Vinnie on a platform surrounded by water below. Jump down to make your way to them.
8
Now that you're back in regular Lumiose, you can get started on your Hyperspace Lumiose survey. This time, you'll need 50,000 survey points. Complete survey tasks in hyperspace distortions until you've obained enough points.

If you need more donuts for distortions, make some with Ansha at Hotel Z. You should be able to use up to 8 Berries now to make a donut.
9
Once you've obtained 50,000 points, head to Hotel Z to meet with Corbeau. Approach Ansha and Team MZ to start the cutscene. Philippe and Corbeau will tell you the recipe for the donut that you'll need to make.
10
Bad Dreams Cruller Minimum Flavor Scores:
310 points in sweet
100 points in spicy
310 points in sour
40 points in bitter
40 points in fresh
To make this donut, talk to Ansha and select "I'd like to try that cruller recipe". Combine Berries you have on hand to make the recipe. It's recommended to use 3 Hyper Tanga Berries for the sweet flavor, 3 Hyper Kasib Berries for the sour flavor, a Hyper Rindo Berry or Hyper Coba Berry for the remaining spicy score, and any Berry with at least 20 bitter points. The Epice Noire will automatically be added by Ansha.
▶︎ How to Make Bad Dreams Cruller
11
Head to Centrico Plaza to meet up with Corbeau, Philippe, and Vinnie. Before you proceed, make sure you have your Pokemon team ready to go. You'll want to bring a level 100 team that is good against Dark-type Pokemon.
12
Approach Corbeau once you're ready, then select the Bad Dreams Cruller to give to Hoopa.
13
Make your way through Hyperspace Newmoon Nightmare. Go up the stone pathway, and follow the road. You will be stopped by cutscenes along the way. Keep moving forward, following the path, until you reach Darkrai.
14
You will enter into a battle against a Lv. 200 Darkrai . For the first part of this fight, Darkrai will not be Mega Evolved, so it shouldn't be too hard to take down with Fairy-, Fighting-, or Bug-type moves. Once it starts charging up, get ready to dodge out of the way of its attacks.

Take note that Darkrai can make your Pokemon drowsy. Use an Awakening, Full Heal, Full Restore, Lum Berry, or Chesto Berry to wake up your Pokemon.
▶︎ Status Conditions and Effects Explained
15
Once you completely drain Darkrai's HP bar, it will Mega Evolve and start phase two of the battle. Mega Darkrai is the same type as regular Darkrai, so its weaknesses remain the same. Mega Evolve your Pokemon to deal more damage to Mega Darkrai, and make sure to avoid its attacks.

Before it starts charging up, Mega Darkrai will make copies of itself. Attack the Darkrai copies to prevent them from attacking you. Another one of Mega Darkrai's charge moves is a large-scale Dark Void, which can damage any Pokemon in range and make them drowsy. Put your Pokemon back in its Poke Ball to prevent it from being affected, then take it back out once the danger has passed.
16
You can catch Darkrai in any Poke Ball of your choice once it has been defeated. You will also receive the Darkranite Mega Stone.

This ends the mission and the main story of the Mega Dimension DLC! However, there will be more Hyperspace Missions available after the credits roll.

Hyperspace Mission 12 (Part 1)

The Greatest Gift Guide
1
Pay a visit to Corbeau at the Rust Syndicate Office to ask about the Pokemon Ansha's looking for. He and Philippe will tell you about a pair of colorful distortions they discovered—the ruby distortion and sapphire distortion. Complete Corbeau's survey request to get more information.
2
He'll require you to collect 70,000 survey points to proceed. Use donuts to enter hyperspace distortions and complete survey tasks to gather points.

Rogue Rematches will also be available at this point. These are 5-star hyperspace distortions where you can fight Rogue Mega Pokemon you've fought before from both the base game and DLC. You can obtain 10,000 survey points as well as rare Hyper Berries for defeating a Rogue Mega in these distortions. To reroll the available distortions, you can rest at a bench.
▶︎ Best Donut Recipes
3
Once you've obtained 70,000 points, meet with Corbeau at the Centrico Plaza Nouveau Cafe, the truck near Prism Tower. He'll ask Grisham to give you Hoennian Salt, and he'll send the recipe for the special donuts to Ansha.
4
Go to Hotel Z, and talk to Ansha. She will have two donut recipes for you to make. You can choose whether you want to make the Groudon donut first, which leads you to Hyperspace Mission 13, or the Kyogre donut, which progresses Hyperspace Mission 14. Both missions need to be completed for you to continue Hyperspace Mission 12.

3
Head to the Hyperspace Rogue Mega Arena at Jaune Sector 11 to meet up with Korrina. The closest fast travel point is the Jaune Pokemon Center.

From this Pokemon Center, climb up the stairs beside it, then follow the left path. Ignore the set of stairs you'll find along the way, and just keep going straight to the grassy area. Korrina will be there next to the hyperspace distortion.
4
Make sure that you have a team ready to take on both Groudon and Primal Groudon . Although Water-type Pokemon look like the best to bring, Water-type moves do not work against Primal Groudon unless it is stunned. It's recommended to have a Ground-type such as Zygarde to use against Primal Groudon.

Talk to Korrina once you're ready, then select the Omega Old-Fashioned Donut.
5
Jump down, then head towards the Groudon statue here in the Hyperspace Desolate Land. Once you get close to it, the statue will crack open to reveal a Lv. 200 Groudon .
6 Battling Groudon
Use Water, Grass, or Ice moves to deal super-effective damage to Groudon. Don't forget to collect the black orbs to prolong your timer.

Once its HP bar has been completely depleted, Groudon will undergo Primal Reversion and turn into Primal Groudon .
7
Water-type attacks have no effect against Primal Groudon until you stun it. Attack Primal Groudon with super-effective Ground-type moves instead, then once stars start dancing around its head, use your Water-type attacks to deal 4x super-effective damage to it.

Primal Groudon's charge moves makes lava shoot up from the ground, but this is easy enough to avoid. Pay attention to the spots that glow, and run away from them. Stay in non-glowing spots to avoid the attacks.
8
Upon defeating Primal Groudon, you will be able to catch it using any Poke Ball you have. You will also receive the Red Orb, which allows Groudon to undergo Primal Reversion if it holds it.
9 If you haven't caught Kyogre yet, you can continue on to Hyperspace Mission 14. If you've already completed this and have both Groudon and Kyogre, continue Hyperspace Mission 12 to find Rayquaza.

3
Head to Wild Zone 5 for the sapphire distortion. The distortion can be found on the northern part of Wild Zone 5 near the wet, low-lying area. If you haven't cleared the muck blocking the way yet, you can use a Psychic or Water-type move to clear this obstruction.

4
Make sure you have the right Pokemon in your party to take on Kyogre and Primal Kyogre . Kyogre's typing doesn't change when it undergoes Primal Reversion, so you can get by with strong Grass- or Electric-type Pokemon for both battles. Pokemon that prefer physical attacks such as Eelektross and Chesnaught are recommended, since Kyogre has a higher special defense stat. However, Kyogre also knows Ice Beam so be careful with your Grass types!

If you're ready, talk to Korrina, then select the Alpha Old-Fashioned Donut to enter into the Hyperspace Primordial Sea.
5
Drop down, and approach the Kyogre statue at the end of the path. This triggers the battle against Lv. 200 Kyogre . Hit Kyogre with Electric- or Grass-type moves until you deplete its HP bar.
6
Kyogre will undergo Primal Reversion once its HP is brought down, and it will turn into the stronger Primal Kyogre . Continue hitting it with Electric- and Grass-type moves, and Mega Evolve your Pokemon when you're able to.

For Primal Kyogre's charge move, it will shoot beams of water in various directions. Recall your Pokemon to prevent them from taking damage, and stay out of the way of the beams. Once Primal Kyogre's onslaught ends, send your Pokemon back out.
7
Defeat Primal Kyogre, and you can catch it in any Poke Ball you'd like. You will also receive its Blue Orb, which can be given to Kyogre so that it can undergo Primal Reversion.
8 If you haven't caught Groudon yet, proceed with Hyperspace Mission 13. If you already have both Groudon and Kyogre, you can continue Hyperspace Mission 12 to find Rayquaza.

Hyperspace Mission 12 (Part 2)

Rogue Mega Rayquaza Guide
1
Once you're done with your meeting with Corbeau and Mable, head to Hotel Z. Approach Team MZ in the lobby to trigger a cutscene.
2
You'll need to get a whopping 100,000 survey points in order for Corbeau and Philippe to come up with the donut recipe for Rayquaza's distortion. The fastest way to get these points may be to complete side missions in 5-star hyperspace distortions and take on Rogue Mega rematches.

Try to collect a lot of Hyper Berries as well to make sure you'll have enough for the Rayquaza donut.
3 Go to Ansha at Hotel Z once you've reached 100,000 points. Corbeau and Philippe will show up to tell you the recipe for Rayquaza's donut.
4
Delta Old-Fashioned Donut Recipe:
120 points in sweet
40 points in spicy
340 points in sour
40 points in bitter
390 points in fresh
Talk to Ansha and tell her you want to try the "Delta" recipe. Select Berries that can reach the minimum required points for each of the flavors listed above. Here is one recipe you can use, but feel free to substitute Berries if you don't have these on hand:
Pokemon Legends: Z-A - Hyper Oran Berry ImageHyper Oran Berry x1
Pokemon Legends: Z-A - Hyper Yache Berry ImageHyper Yache Berry x1

5
Use the elevator to go to the roof of Hotel Z. Make sure your team is ready to face Mega Rayquaza . It's recommended to bring Pokemon with Ice-type moves, since Rayquaza has a 4x weakness to them. Fairy- and Rock-type Pokemon are also good to have.
6
Once you're ready, talk to Korrina. Select the Delta Old-Fashioned Donut, and you'll be transported to Hyperspace Sky Pillar.
7 Battling Rayquaza
Climb up the stairs, and make your way forward until a cutscene starts. A Lv. 200 Rayquaza will appear and start the battle.

Take note that if you are defeated in this battle, you cannot reset with previous progress. You must redo the whole fight completely from the beginning.
8
Use Ice-, Fairy-, or Rock-type moves to bring down Rayquaza. Mega Evolve whenever you can to deplete its HP faster.

For its charge attack, Rayquaza will summon tornadoes and meteors. The areas where meteors will land will have a circular glow around them. Dodge and sprint to avoid getting hit.
9
Once you defeat Rayquaza, it will Mega Evolve and start phase two of the battle. Mega Rayquaza will actively pursue you, so make sure to run away from it and dodge its attacks to avoid getting knocked out. Keep attacking it with Ice, Fairy, or Rock moves while you run away.
10
Mega Rayquaza creates a tornado that can suck you in while it charges up its powerful attack. Have your Pokemon attack the tornado, so you can escape to the edge of the arena before Rayquaza unleashes its power.
11
Mega Rayquaza's second charge attack once it's in the red is similar to regular Rayquaza's, but the whirlwinds are stronger and more effective at hindering your movement. Watch the ground for the glowing spots indicating where meteors will fall, and dodge out of the way using the Y button.
12
Once you defeat Mega Rayquaza, you will be given the opportunity to catch it using any Poke Ball you have on hand. Rayquaza does not need a Mega Stone in order to Mega Evolve, so you will not get an additional item.

Although you caught Rayquaza for Ansha, she will ask you to look after it, so don't worry. You do get to keep Rayquaza.
13
With this, the mission will be complete, and the Mega Dimension DLC story will officially be over. However, there will still be more things to do in the DLC. More side missions get unlocked, and you can still make donuts and explore hyperspace distortions.
