Best Moves: ・ Brick Break (TM 010) ・ Rock Smash (TM 004) ・ Detect ・ Parting Shot Pangoro's Fighting-type STAB allows it to deal super effective damage against all of Vinnie's Pokemon, and its own Dark-typing allows it to resist Houndoom and Sharpedo's Dark-type STAB. It only has to be careful against Buneary who has Draining Kiss, but Buneary's Sp.Atk is so low that this move barely does damage to Pangoro and it can easily defeat it with a Brick Break. |

How to Beat Vinnie (Rank V)
Raise Your Pokemon to Level 35
We recommened raising the level of your Pokemon to at least Level 35. Vinnie's Mega Drampa is Level 32 so it's best to have your Pokemon a few levels higher so they have a better chance withstanding repeated attacks from her Pokemon.
EXP Farming Guide: How to Level Up Fast
Use Pangoro and Heracross
Pangoro's STAB Fighting-type Moves allows it to comfortably take on all of Vinnie's Pokemon and deal super effective damage with both Rock Smash and Brick Break. Alternate between the two moves as you may lower the opponent's Defense using Rock Smash.
Heracross can similarly take on all of Vinnie's Pokemon thanks to its strong Fighting-type Moves. While it's weak to Houndoom's Fire Spin, it has enough bulk to shrug off a few hits and can also use Detect to block damage.
Note: You can get Heracross very early in the game by completing the A Use for an Evolution Stone! side mission.
How to Fight Vinnie (Rank V)
Earn 6,000 Ticket Points
Vinnie is fought during Story Mission 10: The Secrets of Mega Evolution. After earning 6,000 Ticket Points for a Challenger's Ticket, simply head inside and speak to Vinnie to challenge him in a Promotion Match.
Vinnie (Rank V) Location
At Quasartico Inc.
Vinnie is located at Quasartico Inc. in the Magenta District. You'll need to earn 6,000 Ticket Points to get a Challenge Ticket to fight him in the Promotion Match.
Vinnie (Rank V) Rewards
Rank F and Safeguard TM
Defeating Vinnie in the Promotion Match will get you promoted to Rank F, and he'll also reward you the TM for the move Safeguard.
