The best spot to hunt Shiny Goomy is at the West side of Saison Canal at Magenta District. Teleport to the Lumiose Sewers along the Canal on a Rainy Day then go to the empty dock with a single boat.

How to Shiny Hunt

Use a Bench Until it Rains
Keep resting on the bench until it rains.

Lumiose Sewers West Saison Canals
Once it is raining, fast travel to the Lumiose Sewer on the West side of Saison Canal.

You can access the Lumiose Sewer teleport point after completing the Main Mission 20: A Request from the Rust Syndicate.

Go in and out of the sewer until Shiny Goomy spawns on the empty dock in front of the entrance. If it stops raining, go to a bench and rest until it rains then repeat this step.

How to Manually Save
Once Shiny Goomy spawns, save your progress.
⑤ Catch Shiny Goomy. If you defeat it without managing to catch it, restart the game and it will take you to your save point before you battled the Shiny Pokemon.

You can also hunt for Shiny Goomy in Lumiose Sewers. Teleport to the Entrance of Lumiose Sewers located below Wild Zone 5 then head down to the end of the corridor to the right of the entrance.

How to Shiny Hunt

Lumiose Sewers Below Wild Zone 5
Teleport to the entrance of Lumiose Sewers located right below Wild Zone 5. This can only be accessed after completing Side Mission 57: The Camerupt Entrepreneur.

Go down the corridor where Goomy is located then teleport back to the entrance of the Sewers. This will reset the Pokemon within the immediate area. Keep doing this until Shiny Goomy appears.

How to Manually Save
Once Shiny Goomy spawns, save your progress.
④ Catch Shiny Goomy. If you defeat it without managing to catch it, restart the game and it will take you to your save point before you battled the Shiny Pokemon.

Goomy Only Appears During Rain in the Overworld

Use a Bench Until it Rains
You can only encounter Goomy in the overworld when it is raining. To get the weather the change, keep using the bench until it starts to rain.

Only the Goomy found in the Lumiose Sewers can be found during any weather.

Save Before Attempting to Capture Shiny Pokemon

Can Shiny Pokemon Flee

Once you see a Shiny Goomy, they will not despawn if you don't interact with them. However, some Pokemon may get nervous and flee, which does despawn them, so you should save your game before you attempt to catch the Shiny
