Mega Greninja Best Nature and Moveset for Story

Adamant or Jolly

Nature Stat Changes
Adamant Attack, SpAtk
Jolly Speed, SpAtk

Since Greninja is a Fast Physical Attacker, its best Nature is either Adamant or Jolly to boost its Attack or Speed further, while reducing its Special Attack stat.

Alternative Natures

Nature Stat Changes
Lonely Attack, Defense
Naughty Attack, SpDef

You can also give Greninja either Lonely or Naughty nature, if you will mainly use it for Story Content.

Keep in mind that giving Greninja any of the above two natures will increase the damage it receives, making it less ideal for Competitive Play and harder post-game content.

Use Mints to Change Natures

Mint Usage

If your Greninja has a different Nature than the ones we recommend above, you can use a Mint to change its Nature.
Mints Locations and How to Change Nature

Best Greninja Moveset for the Story

Move Type Cooldown
Night Slash Pokemon Dark Type Icon 7
Water Shuriken Pokemon Water Type Icon 3
Hydro Pump Pokemon Water Type Icon 12
Ice Punch Pokemon Ice Type Icon 7

We recommend the moves Night Slash, Hydro Pump, Water Shuriken, and Ice Punch when using Greninja during the main story.
